The POGOLAB Electronic Drum Set is a great beginner pad set. I think these make a great gift for kids who have some musical interest and some rhythm, but are not worthy of the investment of actual electric drums. Kids are so fickle with their interests so this is a cost effective way to gauge their intertest. I like the rechargeable battery on this unit; it has lasted over two hours of playtime with no issues. The sounds are not bad for electric. There are 7 pads and the whole thing is flexible except for the head-control portion. The volume is loud and clear and can definitely annoy when cranked up. (which is usually what kids do) It also comes with two 'pedals' for hi-hat and bass drum. Good enough for kids, but definitely not responsive to a trained drummer. I teach my kids to take care of electronics--so hopefully this lasts with careful treatment. So far, the silicone has held up--no tears. ... show more

I got this Electronic Drum Set for my Disabled Son, he loves music and music videos and he was using different things to play drums on. When I saw this I knew I had to get it for him. He can basically only use one hand to play, but it is also great therapy for him to try and use the other hand to play too. He loves to play along with his favorite music videos on tv. So easy to set up, I do have to make any adjustments for him because he can not do something like that and I'm not really tech savvy, but I was able to understand it...LOL Sound is great, different than real drums but does just want we were looking for. Also, easy to store, you can just roll it up and stuff into backpack or duffle bag if need be. Very durable and well made. We are very happy with it and Highly Recommend it. Would make an awesome gift for someone wanting to learn drums or for beginners. If considering it, get it, you will not be disappointed. Decent price tag too.     • Very basic and unremarkable to me
This drum pad does what it says, but feels thoroughly cheap. The sensitivity of the pad seems inconsistent, where soft taps sometimes trigger and harder ones don't, the sound options are quite limited, and the pedals feel like they'll break. Additionally, the drum sticks are poor quality, and admittedly it's made for kids, the sticks are very small, so if you're a teen or an adult learning, you'll want to buy extra sticks that are your size. The speaker is loud, but not incredibly clear. Overall, it's fine for a beginner, but not great and I don't see longevity in this product. ... show more

It's so cool that you can have a whole drum set in form of a small portable pad that you can take anywhere. Easy to start, the sound is nice. Includes the pad itself, pedal, and drum sticks.

The media could not be loaded. This lightweight portable electronic drum set is very fun. The drum and cymbal sounds are nice and it’s easy to play. The instructions are minimal and just include a chart (please see photo). The instructions don’t even state that it has an internal rechargeable battery so I initially thought it had to be plugged in but when I unplugged it the battery was charged and the set still played. There are two pedals for the high hat and kick drum but they are marked “sustain” on each pedal. It can be paired via Bluetooth. The built in speakers sound clear and it has a jack for a headset. This is a big plus as the person practicing drums can do so without disturbing the rest of the family. I always laugh when I think about giving drums to the kids in my family as that’s the gift that keeps giving in terms of making lots of noise, so I don’t generally give the kids drums even though I think it’s great for their musical development. But this electronic drum set is perfect as the kids can enjoy playing it while the parents enjoy some peace and quiet. ... show more
