The wheelchair works great, our daughter has to use a wheelchair and had recently moved into a new apartment that required the use of ramps to get in and out and she was using a old manual chair which was difficult to get up and down the ramps not to mention it was difficult to navigate around in her small apartment with the old chair due to its size. The new chair is much easier to navigate around the apartment and makes the ramp a breeze to go up or down. The chair has given her back the ability to leave her apartment unassisted which has helped her mood considerably. This wheelchair is heavier (however, it is the lightest powered wheelchair we could find) which makes it a little more difficult to load in a car; however, as far as we are concerned it is worth the trade off for her freedom of getting around. The charge on the battery lasts a little over a week for our daughter’s normal use, which seems pretty good to us keeping in mind she has to go up and down a couple of ramps every time she leaves her apartment. One thing you might consider is looking into getting a cushion for the seat, as with most wheelchairs there isn’t much of a cushion. When our daughter went to her doctor’s appointment; her doctor was really impressed with the wheelchair and wanted information about how and where she bought it, he mentioned that several of his patients would probably be interested in getting one due to the price and the convenience the powered wheelchair provides. We bought this chair because it actually has the brackets for mounting the foot rests which makes it very easy to remove them if they are not needed, one disappointment we have is that there doesn’t seem to be any accessory options for the foot rests. We were hoping that we might be able to find a leg lift option to use on the wheelchair. The wheelchair also came with an offer to extend the battery warranty by 12 months, which would give us a total of 18 months for the battery. Customer support has been outstanding for us, they were easy to contact and responded quickly and since they couldn’t provide any accessories for the foot rest they offered a partial refund, just in case we could find optional foot rests for the wheelchair. ... show more

Got this for my mom, and so far it works great, she loves it. It’s a bit small (which I knew when I got it), but the perfect size for her. Just don’t get it if youre a really big guy or morbidly obese. For my small mom it’s just perfect. I had a little question and received a helpful response within an hour or two. This wheelchair is perfect for me. I’m 89 and unable to walk due to needing 2 hip replacements. I get around the house easily, it turns on a dime and I weigh under the limit of 164 pounds. I can’t be happier with it.

My daughter needs a wheelchair sometimes when she’s in flare up with her rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. The manual wheelchair she had was too hard for her to push the wheels.
