I absolutely love this meat slicer. I have already used it a few times and looking forward to many more. It’s easy to use and easy to clean. It is light weight but doesn’t move on the counter due to the suction cup feet. It also is easy to adjust desired thickness. This is well made and comes with two different slicing blades. Now I just need a kitchen scale so I can package my portions evenly! I also appreciate the offer to extend warranty to 24 months at no additional charge. Thank you! ... show more

I purchased this about a month ago and have been using it frequently on a variety of meats and veggies including cooked ribeye, brisket, turkey breast, ham, sausages, tomatoes, onions, and lettuce. While it does perform adequately, it's performance reflects it's price. It bogs down pretty easily with cooked meats and especially fatty meats. Because it is an open face design the meat tends to stick to the center of the blade and drag down the RPM, which isn't particularly fast to begin with. In short, it's an okay unit for occasional use and veggies but I don't have hope that it will last a terribly long time. I've purchased a 10 inch recessed blade deli slicer to replace this one because I want the faster cutting speed, the built in blade sharpener, and the ability to cut cheese blocks and cooked meats easily. If you REALLY want to slice a lot of meat and cheese you might want to consider a much more expensive recessed blade design. But this is fine for light, slow use. ... show more

My mother had this slicer, but it was a hand crank, she was able to stretch her food budget and save money, money was tight then and still served great meals. I have taken a page out of her book and with this slicer I have already saved money but use the leftovers to make more and different meals best of all no waste. So easy to use and pretty quiet, easy to clean. The size is perfect , does not take up a lot of space on the counter or in the cabinet. a very good buy. I was expecting this meat slicer to be bigger and bulkier but was happy to see that it is light and fits nicely on my counter! It is quiet and cuts meat very smoothly. The slicer comes with 2 blades: serrated for thicker, denser meat, and the smooth blade for more precise cutting. There is a dial to adjust the thickness of slices and the moving meat tray comes off for easy cleaning. The instructions are sparse so I had to figure out how to change the blades and use the plastic meat "pusher" myself but it is a very simple design that most people will be able to figure out quite easily. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised by how well this meat slicer worked for the price I paid. I wish I would have bought one years ago! ... show more

"This apple slicer is very sturdy and feels like it's quality made. If I were to change anything, I'd make it smaller, as I've never seen one this huge (and it takes up too much space in my utensil drawer)." That was my original review from a few months ago. I thought it was a quality tool, based on its size and the weight of the metal, but don't be fooled. I used it only once before today, and here is what just happened: Update 11/2021: Today it broke. I'm lucky the blades stayed partially in the apple without slipping off and cutting me first. (I'm kind of relieved that it broke, as I won't have to face it again.) The 1st time I used it was kind of tough. It seemed like I wasn't strong enough or tall enough to come down on it from above with the force it needed. But I thought this was due to how huge it was, compared to my small hands and short stature. After taking this photo, I re-read the reviews. I obviously had missed the poor ratings, as I'm not alone with this experience. It's an accident waiting to happen, which is why I wanted to write this update. To save someone else from an injury. The tiny apple in this picture was too much of a challenge for this bad boy. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This slicer is very easy to set up and use and cleanup is a breeze! It can slice meats and cheeses with the two different blades provided. Great little piece of equipment. Had problems slicing my jerky consistently, this slicer put an end to that. Every slice the same thickness. Easy to operate and clean. Nice quality slicer. Next I will try it on cheese and bread.
