  • Works great
Purchased for putting fencing around our rear deck to keep our dogs from going underneath it. They would go under and go potty and also dig around the supports. So can’t have that. Used this along with the metal fencing and now they don’t go under there anymore.

  • As described
Easy installation. I used it to keep my medium sized terriers from jumping the fence. I used the yellow plastic insulators on small metal fence posts about 2 and a half foot high. Sent one yipping but the other just backed off & shook his head. They have not jumped on the fence since. Now I can relax & let them play in the backyard without worrying if they have escaped. Very much more reasonably priced than the invisible fencing & no bulky collars or nasty shock from accidentally stepping in the shock zone. I think I’ll be able to remove it all together in the future. 🤞 ... show more

  • It works
It's been about a year since I bought this and I ran it in total about 175 feet, it worked great. Immediately stopped my dogs from digging under the fence, I recently raised a Husky and we'll he didn't dig under he's jumping the fence so I ran a 2nd line over the top and it's to much line, it still works but the shock isn't powerful enough to stop him so I'm going to order a 2nd unit. The 2 miles it says it is for is obviously to much, but if you're looking for something under 200 feet this little $30 box will do the trick long enough that the dogs will not want to test it after that first week or so. ... show more

  • Great device to protect the chicken coop
We have a chicken coop and some nosey dogs it emmits a low voltage shock just enough to scare the heck out my dogs to understand that they are not allowed in the coop.

  • Only a light tingle
I came here to return it and buy a more powerful fence energizer but I waited too long to install it and the return window has closed. I used the poly rope type wire and not sure if that's the problem or the energizer itself, but I only felt a light tingle once when I touched the rope wire, I can actually hold it, so I don't feel like it's going to do any good to keep critters out of my garden? Also, the Amazon tester (GK503C NEON Fence Electric Voltage Tester Max 9000V) I bought has no lights when I touch the fence so another sign that it's not working. Even touch directly to the ground and hot on the energizer legs and got no lights. Can someone maybe recommend the next step up to buy to protect my garden? ... show more

  • Shocker is intermittent
It working for my front grass to keep the rabbits away, but it does not send a constant current. It has a flashing light that flashes when the current is sent. So it only pulses every few seconds. It’s not a constant flow of electricity!!!

  • needs a very good ground
I set this up to keep my dog from getting under our deck and in our garden. It took me 20 minutes to set the stakes and run the wire. I wanted to temporarily mount the device so didn't want to use the screw holes but used zipties to fasten to an existing fence pole. After setting up a good earth ground and connecting to the fence operation was easy. Within 1 minute of activation my dog was corrected. He was more startled than any thing else but with one correct it effectively changed his behavior. I am thinking I'll be able to dismantle this device in the spring as it won't be needed anymore. I do have the device out in the elements and we have had some significant rain and sleet over the past 10 day but is still working well. ... show more

  • Works perfectly
We got this to go around the bottom of our dog fence because our English Mastiffs like to dig under. This fencer does the trick. It's strong enough to let them know they can't do it but it doesn't hurt them either. We have also used it for our cattle fencer when the bigger one we had suddenly stopped working. It also worked fine for them giving them just the right amount of little zap for trying to push on the fence. Highly recommend this to anyone with livestock or larger dogs. ... show more
