This ebike is an absolute dream to ride! I purchased it for inner city riding, and fell in love after I took it on a 10 minute cruise. Assembly: 3/5 It took 3 of us an hour and a half to assemble it, because the brakes were too tightly adjusted, and scraped against everything. But once assembled, it's worth the headache! Appearance: 5/5 She's sleek and longer than other Ebikes. The white and black look fantastic, the paint job is on point, any welding is smooth and there aren't any bumps or metal burrs on the bike frame. I love the leather handles, they feel fantastic and the seat is my favorite thing about the bike! It's comfy, wide and supportive. If you're riding for hours you'll still want padded shorts, but for leisure rides it's more than adequate. Speed: 5/5 For a cruiser, this bike really zooms! It blew my hair back (literally) when I bumped the pedal assist to 3 and then went full throttle, only to 3, not even max! I was at 27 mph in 2 seconds, which is faster than I was ready for. So you'll want to get used to the jump in power when you go full throttle, but it's a blast to ride! Accessories: 5/5 This baby comes with a VERY loud horn (think obnoxious car horn), so people will definitely know you're there. The lights included are stunningly bright, and the reflectors work as they should. Battery: 5/5 So far we haven't ridden it until it's drained, but it came half charged, and takes very little time to fully charge. We have the chargers elevated on wire shelves to make sure they get enough airflow, just in case they heat up during charging. Overall: Incredible bike that compares to the $1,200 bike I test drove at a local cycle shop! I thought I would be disappointed, because how can a bike at this price point compare to a pro bike? But it does! I was relieved and impressed all at once. So much fun to ride around. The pedal assist is great, and you can turn off the assist as well and ride like a normal bike.

Bought it as a gift for my mom. Only 3 drawbacks…the seat color and handle bar leather don’t match (handlebars have more orange in them than the seat) but not a huge detail, there was a bolt missing for the rack on the back and the bike didn’t come with extra bolts, the attachment hole for the front fender came bent but I was luckily able to straighten it out with a screwdriver without breaking it. Lastly, the instructions were pretty spotty so be prepared to have to figure out some of the steps on your own. Not sure yet about how it rides but it did turn on when I tested that much at least ... show more

    • Do not buy!
First, it is a nice looking bike.....unfortunately, that is where it ends. Here are the list of issues we encountered: #1 Assembly! my brother and I (in our early 40's) assembled this for my wife. It took us over 2 hours! Parts did not line up correctly and sometimes somewhat poorly made. #2 Size! Even though the it says that this bike fits someone 5'2", it does not fit my wife who is 5'4" She can not touch the ground when the seat is lowered all the way. When I complained to the seller, they said that they tested on someone who is 5'2"....sorry, I don't believe it and you shouldn't either! #3 Acceleration! When both my brother and myself tested out the bike, we found it to be somewhat dangerous. We discovered that as soon as you barely touch the pedals, the motor kicks in harshly, even with the pedal assist on the lowest setting. I have an electric bike myself and do not have this issue. I have contacted the seller and they want another $170 to ship it back, after paying $170 to ship it to me~ No thanks. ... show more

I decided to change my review to a 4. 1. Their customer service came through and made it right. They sent me the correct motor and information on how to fix it. Plus, they took notice that I ordered brakes and took care of me. 2. It's easy to fix. Through this process I learned a lot. Cleaning out the old nylon gears took some time but was not difficult. Prepping and replacing the motor took 5 minutes. I also discovered you can buy replacement gears as well. I put a lot of miles into riding, and being able to keep my bike in good shape is important for me. 3. The bike has some quirks and cheaper parts, but for the current price, it's worth it. At the price I paid, now knowing that it can be repaired fairly easily and possibly upgraded, I'm fine with it. The fenders and chain guard will rust. I just removed the guard altogether because it rattled. I'll replace the fenders as well, but not a big deal. The back brake is a pain to adjust because the motor blocks the inside screw. I replaced it with a brake that has a knob to turn it from the top. Short time out of the box, I had to replace the screws for the reflectors, because they rattled out. Coming from riding a Faraday (if you know, you know). It's nice being able to fix the bike. ----- 1. I paid $795 for this hunk of crap. 2. Motor exploded at only 3400 miles. What happened: The plastic teeth from the internal gears broke off. They were nice enough to send a new motor, and it seems like a fairly easy switch. But it also seems the manufacturer may be aware of the teeth defect, because the new internal gears are now helical and don't line up with this model. Or, they sent me the wrong motor... 3. Because of the weight on the back tire, it's constantly gets flats. 4. Brake pads are impossible to find. They sale break pads, just have to wait a month to get them. ... show more
