    • A GOOD all around solution...
If there is one thing I have discovered, Timbertech/Fengda makes a solid, well machined airbrush regardless of the model. This is a nice solution for both unobstructed view for doing detail as well as having a siphon side feed paint cup for larger jobs and thicker mediums. You can buy extra glass paint jars with the correct fitting from Master which fits their Master SB84 airbrush. Basically it is probably the same airbrush as this one at a higher price. I only wish that Timbertech would sell these paint jars as well on Amazon, I think they really could reign in some business on doing so. ... show more

After purchasing a competitor's airbrush set which included 3 airbrushes, paints, and cleaning tools (which was a terrible experience). I decided to give the Timbertech model a try. One of the things that attracted me to this purchase was having one airbrush to clean instead of 3 - who wants to keep 3 airbrushes clean? I didn't have high expectations, but can't justify spending $200 - $400 on a premium airbrush. Boy was I surprised! This model outperforms both of the airbrushes I previously purchased (didn't use the 3rd one before returning the set). I noticed many of the reviews mentioned that the airbrush didn't spray after a short time of use. My own experience is that if your paint is thinned properly, and you keep the airbrush clean that's not the case. It's also important to use the dual action trigger correctly to avoid a dry tip. The ONLY reason I didn't give this unit 5 stars is there are no cleaning tools included. This is a MUST for any airbrush which I purchased separately with the cleaning pot from another vendor. Update: on the 3rd use the 0.3 mm nozzle snapped off the threading while reattaching it after cleaning. Didn't put any torque on it - it broke off before reaching the end of the threads.
