The media could not be loaded. I love sectioned/cutaway displays in general, and I’m a huge petrolhead, so this model checked a lot of boxes for me. Keeping in mind the price point, I’m thoroughly impressed by it. The action is smooth and it has a good weight to it, the engine case, piston, handle/flywheel, and intake/carburetor are all cast metal (the crankshaft, connecting rod, and base are plastic). The painted parts appear to be done by hand and are a little bit “sloppy” in a few spots, but it in no way detracts from the model’s appearance. The “spark plug” is a simple red LED that’s triggered at TDC by a pair of AA batteries. The diagram on the front looks neat, although some of wording is a little non-conventional, and it came with a little booklet explaining how a 2 stroke works. I like it enough that I’ve already ordered the 4-stroke version and plan to get the Wankel and diesel models in the future. ... show more
