    • Toxic noxious gasses - throw it out. Health hazard!

I really liked the functionality of unit, especially the UPS mode, but I have to throw it out as it is a health hazard It emits noxious gasses that irritate my skin and lungs, and send my cat to the veterinary emergency. While I would get mildly irritated nose, prolonged exposure resulted in itchy skin, but my cat's skin turned entirely pink, the cat was trying to lick and scratch herself all over, fully dilated pupils and panting. And she got better while driving to the ER, I got better too. The doctors beside poison exposure would not able to make a diagnosis. Got back home and things started all over - moved the unit outside and aired the place for good 3 hours and we were fine. Poison control and Fire department said they can't test for which gas exactly is the irritant - it would have to be tested in a private lab at $$$. And that is after trying to air out the unit outside for over a week already as advised by ecoflow. Your health is not worth it. Ecoflow cheaper out in some glue/goop in this thing. ... show more

Very useful to run my cpap machine when the power goes out and runs nearly silent really close to my bedside.Charges up very quickly from my ac outlet,DC ND from the solar panel and nice it can have additional battery added to triple it's capacity.A handy thing to have for running medical equipment even when primitive camping or out on the boat or other outdoor events. ... show more

Really impressed with the newest River 3 family products. The inverter on this one is 600W yet the battery is not much larger than the base unit River 3. It does have two options for more battery power to make it more life as you run at the maximum rating. Still a great weight and matched with a 100W solar panel the charging is great if you are considering a fixed location. I already own a RIVER 2 and a DELTA Pro, so I really small and really big. I really like the fact that the RIVER 3 Plus by itself has more than double the wattage output for the inverter over the RIVER 2 and you can double or triple the battery capacity just by stacking it on top of an extra battery like a LEGO. The size is about the same dimensions as the RIVER 2 - the R2’s handle that hangs out the back makes it about the same depth where the RIVER 3 Plus fills all that space below the handle with electronics and batteries. What is really striking is how silent the fans are under load. My RIVER 2 makes an obvious fan noise where the RIVER 3 Plus is whisper silent. Now I am on the fence whether to add the Extra Battery 300 or Extra Battery 600. Who am I kidding, I’m probably going to have to get both :) The only thing that would make the absolutely perfect is more USB-C ports as it only has one, so I have to accommodate by carrying some USB-A to USB-C cables. ... show more

This is my first solar generator and I love it. The solar panels came separately and are a great addition to this bundle. I bought a second one so I can swap out units when needed from where I have my bigger solar panels installed so I can power them with only solar. Can’t wait to see what comes next and this may start my journey into installing full solar at home. I also bought the EB600 straight from EcoFlow and it’s definitely worth it to expand the capacity and give a much longer run time. Would highly recommend! ... show more

The chemical smell is absolutely unacceptable! The technology is great, the software is great. The smell is terrible. We can’t stand in the room with these things. I even went thru a few charge/discharge cycles in the ventilated garage and the smell still persists (using AC charging/ AC discharging). I wrote to EcoFlow and they said this is “normal”. I am concerned that the gases are actually poisonous. And, no, I don’t have sensitive nose and no, I am not paranoid. Try it, you will see. ... show more
