    • Not a perfect fit but still good
The overall look and fit are good but not perfect. The color and texture are slightly different but I think most people wouldn't notice or care. I have been doing classic care restorations for about 10 years and been accused of having OCD. I had to trim my piece slightly at the bottom of the windshield corner which helped the fit but the top inside corner near the windshield still does not fit flat against the A pillar. I may end up installing thin double sided tape o keep it tight but I'm waiting to see how much it bothers me while driving first. The placement of the opening to hold my edge attitude touch screen is perfect. Doesn't block defrost vent or view out the windshield and you still have a good view of the display unit. Looks and fits like OEM part. I did see we’re some guys said by the wind shield it flairs out a little. Gonna use a piece of Velcro to fix that. But over all it’s pricy for a piece of plastic. But really looks good. A tip don’t force the screw to fasten it to pillar post work it by hand first you could strip it easily hope this helps. ... show more

    • Wish it fit better.
I bought this mount a MM3 tuner knowing I would have to modify it , the mod came out awesome, the tuner looks really good in it, I just wish the pillar fit better than it does, don’t get me wrong others probably won’t even notice the pillar doesn’t fit like a glove but I know lol.

Fit very well in my 2014 Ram 1500 Ecodiesel with the Laramie Longhorn trim. I used it for my Edge CTS3. It came with all the adapters needed.

    • Installation Hack Info
Clean look for the edge vs. a tacky suction cup in a $100K truck. Color matches close enough. No installation instructions, not rocket science but had to go to EDGE website to realize I didn't need one piece for the CTS2 model. Installation is a PIA. Here's what you have to do for CTS3. Solid insert goes in hole. Smaller block goes inside rib of solid piece. Insert with lugs lower or you won't be able to slide CTS in the mount. Now the fun. For $120 this should be molded correctly. It is not. You will most likely need to file down last 6 inches that meet the lower windshield (nearly an 1/8th) and the dash about 1/16th. A little filing at a time is the key here in getting it adjusted correctly. You will also need to file the front edge that meets the dash (about a 1/16) as it will not sit low enough to get the 1 bolt hole to align. That 1 bolt took an hour to align. Trick here, hand taper the edge of the bolt (like the factory does) so you can start it easier. Would I buy again, YES. It looks clean and factory like. If you like to farkle your truck, it's worth the effort but took me 2 hours to do it right. ... show more

Almost a perfect match. Color is 99% match...texture is off. But overall it fits nice. Looks nice, and much better than the suction cup

I bought this for my 17 Ram 5500. The color matches pretty good with the stock a pillar. However, the texture is completely different. It fit pretty good except I with it was a bit tighter on the right side. Maybe if it was molded a little smaller it would have better memory in the plastic to keep that side tight because it's only held in place with one screw. I bought this to mount my mm3 which this is not designed for. However it can be made to work. I used a razor blade to trim it a bit and made a backing plate out of aluminum. Overall I am happy with how it turned out. It's way better than the windshield suction cup mount that came with the mm3. It was always falling off and blocked some of my view. ... show more
