I make my stickers using the Xyron creative station to laminate and add adhesive to the sheets and then run through my cricut. The one big hassle in this process is that the back of the xyron rolls are a very slippery material that refuses to stick to most cutting mats. I'm forced to tape the material down to get it to stay in place and sometimes it comes loose anyway. I ordered these seeing some complain that they were too sticky and had a slight hope they were what I needed and I'm so glad to find that they do indeed grip onto the stubborn material! If you are working with lighter materials they may not be for you but for my uses these will be saving me so much hassle and wasted material. ... show more

Pros -cheap without compromising quality -highly durable -amazing adhesion -isnt flimsy like silhouette brand -thick therefor my accidental deep cuts didn't cut through like with silhouette Cons There's only one and sadly it's my only reason I'm seeking other brands. The grid is off. I have a cameo 4 and if I line my vinyl up in the upper left grid squares of the mat, the cameo cuts about ¼" above and ¼" to the left. I don't have the issue with the silhouette mat and figured out it was due to the extra width of the ecraft's mat border. If I line my vinyl up with the numbers (where I made the sharpie lines) vs the grid line it cuts perfectly, however there's no adhesive for the upper and left most edges making it easy for the blade to catch and ruin a cut. The other irritation with that is that I have to mentally compensate that ¼" off with everything I cut that I don't just simply line up in the corner (ex. Design is set to cut 2" down and 4" over going off the cut settings and id place It as so on the silhouette mat rather with the ecraft mat I'd have to place the vinyl at 1¾" down and 3¾ over. I am still new and this could be an easy fix with my software I haven't learned as of yet. Hopefully this review will help others in my situation from wasting vinyl trying to figure out the issue. ... show more

As a professional artist I use these mats to cut complex shapes in watercolor paper and stencil mylar. The 24" length gives me much more flexibility for my designs than the 12" x 12" size. Frankly, I do not concern myself with which of the three types of stickiness is recommended, and they are all usable for my needs. Sometimes I do use short pieces of tape to add extra security to the perimeter of the item to be cut, not placing any tape onto the tacky area, just the non-tacky perimeter. ... show more
