I brought these to replace one's that I got from QA1 that broke off at where the shocks mount. the metal on these foreign made copies was not as heavy or thick as the QA1 but is adequate for just crusing. i installed these on my 1966 OLDS 442 WITH a ford 9" rear QA1 coilovers with a LS2 ENGINE.

  • L Brackets Zinc Coated, but Weld On Brackets Are Too
I like that the L Brackets are zinc coated, but I was not expecting that the weld on brackets were too. The photos don't represent this. The weld on brackets look bare steel in the photos, or at least different than the L brackets. Why zinc coat a welded bracket? I assume to prevent rust on the slow boat from China.
