Got two sets- single compartment and three divider. Nice quality, good size for lunchbox, looked nice enough I also used them to carry small quantity items to a potluck, and store neatly stacked in cabinet. Lids work fine. Obviously, slightly heavier than plastic, but feel good about the materials. Can't speak to durability because only had them two weeks. Practice a couple of times with the lids before using. They work well, just have to get the gist and some work better with lid turned one way than the other-don't know why, but if it is not sealing, turn it around. With the sectional, of course, need to pack like with like because of moisture wicking to keep any cookies or crackers from getting stale. Overall, so far I am pleased with this purchase. More expensive, but look like they will last and appreciate that it is not plastic. Addition to review: I accidentally knocked this container and a glass cereal bowl out of my refrigerator. They fell from the top shelf and hit on a hardwood floor. The cereal bowl broke into several pieces. My Ecoprep container had no breaks or cracks, and the lid didn't come off. ... show more

I’ve used Pyrex containers for decades now, and while they served their purpose, the flimsy lids always cracked after just a few months. I was tired of replacing them multiple times a year and wanted something a bit more reliable and sustainable. That's when I came across these EcoPreps containers. Since then, they've really upped my kitchen and meal-prep experience. The airtight bamboo lids are a HUGE improvement. I've had to clean up horrible messes when the lids of my other containers cracked open or just completely slipped off. With these, I can store meals with sauces or dressings and toss them into my bag without worrying about the lid coming off, even when placed sideways. The leak-resistant design works perfectly. I also batch cook weekly, and these containers keep everything fresh and secure for much longer than a week. I reheat meals in my microwave oven, and the glass jar works perfectly even directly from the freezer. Funny enough, I’ve even dropped them on my counter a couple of times, and they’re still in one piece. Health-wise, I feel much better using these for my family. I was always somewhat unnerved by the chemicals in plastic and silicone lids. These lids are bamboo, and pretty clearly free of any harmful chemicals and treatment that could leech into my food. They're also very functional - the containers stack and effectively lock in place with the venting feature. As a nice little cherry on top, I love the little utensil holder wrap that comes with. Didn't know I needed one until I had it :) If you’re tired of flimsy, wasteful options and want a solid, eco-friendly product, these are it. I love the durability of the storage and the design of the silicone seal and vent is super helpful for keeping the lid secure and air tight. Plus they look aesthetic in the fridge lol. Definitely plan on buying more!

Original review: I like the concept. I bought these to have food containers that do not have plastic. Trying to minimize plastic exposure with my food. They worked well at first however they no longer seal properly. I followed the instructions on washing and storage however the bamboo lids warped pretty fast, maybe after a month of use.. So now looking for another option.. Amended review: The seller reached out to me and offered various solutions on the seal issue. They offered remedies on fixing the lids and even offered to send out new lids. Customer service was outstanding and I would be very confident buying from this seller again. I guess the takeaway here is the bamboo lids require special attention. You have to be very aware of how they are being washed and how much moisture is being introduced to them. The good thing is that if they do warp it does seem like they can be restored however I haven't tested that out. If you are looking for a non plastic option I think these could be a good option and are worth a try. ... show more

I bought these because I meal prep most of my food for work, and I don’t like the idea of my food sitting in a plastic container for days at a time. I love that these have a bamboo lid. If you follow the directions from the seller, you will have no problem getting the lid on and off. It’s very simple. They hold the perfect amount of food and clean very easy. I really love these, however, my only complaint is the bamboo covers are a little fragile. 3 of mine (I bought 2 sets) have splits down them. One is completely my fault because I dropped it. The other 2, I’m not sure how they got cracked. But I am still able to use them. This is my first time owning anything bamboo, so I’m not sure if the fragility is specific to this product or just due to the material it’s made out of. Might be nice if there was a standalone option to purchase lids only, because I am accident prone. That being said, I would 100% purchase these again, and I most likely will be buying more in the future. They are really great. ... show more
