I have a wonderful Plug & Play above ground hot tub. It is designed for two people to lounge in and only requires 150 gallons of water. The interior color of the shell is slate gray so the hard water ring became very visible in no time and my skin felt rough. I searched for a spa water softning product selecting this one mainly because it was the right price for me and reviews were good. I was confused reading the directions that instructed using the entire bottle in a 7,000 gal. Spa!! Had to calculate what my little spa needed. I ended up adding about 6 capfuls or so and in a day the water felt soft, smooth, and more relaxing. It didn't create any slippery feeling and the white hard water ring had disappeared! I have used this product for 2 years and it works pretty well. just a once a month application of one of the little bottles of stuff, maybe 1 -2 chlorine tablets a week in my little hot tub, which I use 1-2 times a day. Today I suddenly find I can no longer ship to my home address or any other address that I have. previously used in San Diego. All other spa products on Amazon can still ship to my address, so not sure why this is happening, but it's the reason for the 3 star review. Was very skeptical but we put this in our hot tub and still no rash! We were contemplating getting rid of our hot tub. We've also notice it's doesn't require as much chlorine and those levels as well as the PH have been great. It'll be worth the $16.00 a month for sure!

Last summer I had trouble keeping my hot tub crystal clear. I had researched an easy way to maintain the chemical balance without all the harshness. I found this product. One shock sanitizer has been easy to use. My skin is extra sensitive and I haven’t had any issues using the system.
