  • Excellent delivery and quality!
Just like expected thank you!

  • Compact and user friendly slicer!
The media could not be loaded. Was hesitant to get one of these before as it look big and bulky, but this was not that and more. It's surprisingly compacted for what it is and very user friendly to use. The blade and clear handle comes out easily for cleaning and the rest of the unit can easily be wiped after usage. Controlling thickness of the slices is very easy and the blade is very sharp. It's also very safe to use as long as you follow the provided instructions. Look forward to using it more on other stuff! ... show more

  • Easy to use slicer, that lacks on power but gets the job done.
The slicer is not all that large, so bigger foods/meats are a little harder to slice, but nothing a little bit of pre-cutting does not fix. The motor is just strong enough to cut processed lunch meats as long as you don't cram the meat into the blade and kind of let the blade ease through the cuts. The first slicer I got had a piece break after the fourth use and after getting in touch with the seller they made it right without any issue. ... show more

  • Value
Great price for home use. We purchased it to slice cabbage to make sauerkraut, 20 heads no problem.

  • Blades are dull
Does it work yea. Does it work well, no. The motor is under powered, the blades are dull, and there is a 3/8 inch gap between the pusher and the plate the meat rides on so you end up wasting meat. Also the Blades are low quality steel I'm not even sure they can be sharpened and hold an edge. My smooth blade (not serrated or jagged whatever they call it) was bend in one place upon receipt. I used a 2 oz hammer to straighten the edge. You can't take it apart enough to properly clean and sanitize it. And as I said the blades are dull, from the factory I can take them off and wash them without having to worry about cutting myself I've got screw drivers sharper than the blades that came with this. ... show more

  • Does a nice job for a home electric slicer
I really like the thickness adjustment knob. Easy to use. Don't expect it to slice fast like at a deli. Take your time and it does a very nice job. Cleanup is fast and easy and there are few parts to mess with. It is certainly worth the money I spent on it. The spare blade is a bonus, too.

  • Not as good as the OSTBA slicer
I had the OSTBA slicer and it's a good unit. The one drawback is the max thickness (on mine) is 9/16" (just over 1/2") and I like my steaks and such close to 1" thick. I asked some questions and people responded with differences and all ~3/4", hence purchased the unit. It has challenges when compared to the OSTBA; the suction pads don't hold as well, it's not as easy to clean, the blade safety features aren't as good, and most importantly, it had difficulty cutting some seedless rye bread when set to 3/4" thickness (the max my unit could support), also the motor didn't turn as rapidly hence slicing was slower from the get-go. The thickness dial is a nice feature, and getting two blades is nice (they're identical. It's not a matter of use blade A for these things, blade B for those things, they're the same blade), but I prefer the OSTBA on several counts. ... show more
