It ticked all the rest of the boxes: great water bottle sleeve near a strap to hook, valuables pocket on the back, sturdy straps, good organization in the main pocket, and overall, not too heavy. I love it. It reminds me of a mini carry on. It is just perfect! It’s comfortable. I love that it has a strap in the back to secure in your carry on handle. Many compartments and it’s not too big. It’s pretty deep too. The buckles on the side are great for getting it a little smaller.
