There are also controls for light level and ON-duration after trigger, making this a versatile unit. We installed 30 of the ECOELER Ceiling Occupancy Motion Sensors in a light store to help reduce power consumption, and the results have been fantastic. These sensors have significantly cut down on energy usage by ensuring the lights are only on when needed. The 360° coverage works perfectly for a large commercial space, detecting motion instantly and turning off lights when the store areas are unoccupied. Installation was smooth, and adjusting the settings for sensitivity and timing was straightforward, making them an ideal solution for our energy-saving goals. This sensor was perfect for my laundry room. It was easy to hardwire install (for an electrician like me), and now I can walk into the laundry room with my hands full, and not have to fumble for the light switch. The only product improvement I could suggest would be to include a second 1/2 inch nut, to minimize the sensor's intrusion into a crowded junction box. ... show more

When powered on for the first time works great, lights will turn on from 30-40 feet away. However, once it cycles off you have to be about 4 feet away for it to turn on the lights every time thereafter. Unfortunately I waited too long and now I can’t return this garbage. Anyone wants some motion sensors for real cheap?lol ... show more

I have one of these on each side of my garage. Easy to install if you understand basic electrical wiring. If you don't the instructions and wiring diagram are confusing. There's one thing that's a bit annoying. My lights are also switch-operated. If the switch is off, and I turn it on, the lights will turn on as they detect motion. But, after 30 seconds they will go back off. If there's still motion they will go right back on. This only happens after the initial power up. After that, they will turn off after 15 minutes as I have them set. ... show more
