  • Absolutely worth the money
Style: 84Wh
These battery/inverters are lightweight. The panels are small and not super powerful but they keep the unit charged and didnt break easily. I bought 2 of these and took them across country with me. They kept my devices charged and gave me light. They charge on the panels or the wall and that was incredibly helpful back home in the dark and cold north east (it was winter). I left one with a friend in cali so she had light for her kids durring blackouts. Both units are still working and both have taken punishment with not even scratches on the panels. The batteries didn't get hot. This is a great little kit to keep things charged while you are on the road or to have on hand for a black out when your main generator is powering the fridge and you need power for your phone and lights in the bathroom. My husband is a solar installation professional with 10 years of experience he helped me pick this kit and it was absolutely worth the 100 and some odd dollars I paid for the 2 kits. ... show more

  • Just what I wanted
Style: 84Wh
I live on a large property that turns into a 'big dark' at night, and wanted some lights outside that are more substantial than the usual solar lights with tiny panels that die after a few hours. This unit works great, with plenty of light that lasts all night. I have a large solar generator with a big panel, but I wanted something smaller and less expensive just for outdoor lighting. This is perfect. A few things to know: 1. The power (blue button) has to be on for it to charge. Sounds simple, but I suspect that some of the 'dead unit' reviews might be from people trying to charge the unit without turning it on. 2. This is not a rough and tumble unit that you can throw in a pack. The case is ok, but it is very lightweight and dropping it from a height would be a no-no. It is not designed for backpacking. 3. As with all solar, angling the panel toward the sun will charge the unit faster. 4. The unit is 84Wh, which isn't a ton of power. It will run the lights and charge small devices, but a usb fan would drain it rapidly. 5. The panel can be left out in misty, damp conditions, but the battery box is not waterproof, so keep it dry. If you appreciate it for what it is, this is a great, inexpensive lighting unit for car/ family camping, power outages, sheds etc. The all in one, plug and play design is super simple, and a nice introduction to solar. Just don't expect more from it than what is was designed for. Update 4/14/21- Just a quick update on this unit. I have been using it daily for about 2 months now, and it is still working well. I wish the lights had sensors to turn off at dawn and on at dusk, but this unit wasn't really designed for daily use, so I can't complain much. That said, I am about to order a second one because the first one has worked so well. UPDATE- I have now had this unit for a year, and it is still going strong on solar alone with daily (read: nightly) use. I usually only use one bulb, but that is because I don't always remember to turn it off during the day. Both battery and panel are outside 24/7 (battery protected from rain, but housing gets damp), and they still work just fine. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • Very handy would recommend.
Style: 80Wh
Purchased this earlier in the year for camping purposes. Came in very handy when Hurricane Helene knocked out power for a week and a half. Between recharging my phone and use as a light source, as well as being able to generate solar power, it helped a bunch. Fairly lightweight and relatively small sized , so it was easy to keep out of the way. Cons: Hard to tell how much it has charged or how much charge is left. Solar panel doesn't come with supports so it can be annoying to get a good angles for peak sunlight collection. Overall, I recommend it. ... show more

  • For use in storage unit with no lights
Style: 84Wh
Works great for what I needed, the panel keeps the battery topped up and when I need the lights they are always available. The lights are bright for being low voltage and will stay lit for hours.

  • A+
Style: 84Wh
I had low expectations because usually you get what you pay for but this thing exceeded my expectations. So far so good. Solar does charge but I haven't taken it out on a perfect sunny day to see how well. It works better than I thought and last a while as well. Worth five stars.

  • NOT a true Solar Generator
Style: 84Wh
I purchased this Eco-worthy Solar kit for camping. The reviews made me wary, but i figured i'd try any way. The reviews mention the battery never fully charges or wont stop charging. Its very true, after 36 hours of charging the light is still blinking, leading me to think its still charging. After "fully" charging, i plugged in my iPhone 13, only to watch the battery of the Eco-worthy, drop to 1 light and not charge my phone past 4%, IN MORE THAN 15 MINUTES. Unacceptable for something claiming to be 84wH battery. After Camping... The device and its lights are great, i will give it that accolade. As a charger, its beyond pathetic, it will NOT charge an iPhone 13 more than 4% before the device quits and needs recharging. Save yourself, unless all you need is lights, and get something better. A flash light would be cheaper though and have the same effect. I'll actually try this for camping and let the solar panel charge it, I'll put in another review after camping. I am preparing to be COMPLETELY disappointed. Please don't spend your $60 on this one, save yourself the time and headache, and get a true solar generator. ... show more
