I updated both of my Pride Go Go scooters w/ these Lithium batteries & am I happy I did it? YES. They do cost more, but they keep a charge longer & don't demand you keep track of long you charge them or when. The weight issue is a PLUS & is surely going to be easier on the scooters. I have a lift that comes out the side of my van & with the light batteries, I don't have to worry about keeping the "heavy side" of my scooter being at the back of the platform I drive onto.....I drive straight on now which is MUCH easier than backing onto the platform lift. The only down side is when the charge goes down, they just quit working. There's no warning like the lead batteries, showing up on your charge gauge as less amount of green lights. So I have an extra battery case in my passenger floorboard of the van at all times, charged up just in case. Then all I have to do is have someone get the extra case for me if I'm inside somewhere. It hasn't happened, but I'm prepared. Don't be afraid, just change over to the Lithium batteries, the chargers are smaller & cheaper too on that popular auction site. ... show more

Bought a pair for my seldom used Pride scooter 5 months ago and found one battery depleted to 4 volts that would only charge individually as a 12 volt battery (to 13.36) and the other battery apparently has a bad bms or cell that drained the good battery and will only charge to 11.14. With no usable warranty, I can’t recommend using offshore lithium batteries in your scooter. ... show more

Used to run a small trolling motor, replacing a lead acid unit. So much easier on the back! Seems to have plenty of capacity for my use. Cost less than that heavy conventional battery. This battery has been on my boat for two years and still works great. Built-in power management obviously works and has probably saved me from ruining this battery. However, because the power management is built-in, the load and charging circuits (e.g. radio and solar panel) are connected to the same terminals. What this means is that your electronics might be subjected to 20V+ from the solar panel when the battery is full and the sun is shining. So with this battery, you should always disconnect the solar panel before operating your fish finder, etc.. Theoretically, you could put another charge controller in front of the battery, but I'm not sure how well it works to put two controllers in series. What would be really nice is to have two sets of terminals on the battery itself, one for "charge" and one for "load." I still gave this battery five stars since I've not found another brand to offer that feature. Hopefully all batteries of this type will have separate load and charge terminals in the future. ... show more

    • The Battery may be Good, But the Supplied Bolts are Not (EDIT: Customer Service is Top Notch)

The supplied bolts are not very good. 1) they are too long, 2) they are too weak. Trying to tighten the positive terminal down on a connecctor and the bolt snapped off before I was able to seat the bolt far enough down to make a firm connection. The included instructions say that if the bolt doesn't fit get one that will from the hardware store. If they would just supply the correct one with the battery, it wouldn't be an issue. Now, where did I put that bolt extraction kit... EDIT: After posting my original review above (with 3 stars) I was contacted by Eco-Worthy regarding the issue. Their customer service is superb, although the issue really was nothing more than an inconvenience, they went above and beyond in resolving the issue. I will certainly be buying Eco-Worthy batteries in the future. ... show more
