The curtains I got did not have grommets. They go on a regular curtain rod but i'm okay with that. I've never had blackout curtains before but I thought they blocked out all the light. These do not. The picture I uploaded on the left was taken during the daytime. The picture on the right at 11pm. My apt complex put up LED lighting that is brighter than daylight so I ordered these curtains. I bought both (2 rooms) Navy and Mushroom 54x54. Used 2 panels For a 68 inch wide opening. This product is exactly as they describe. If you read close I got Darkening, NOT BLACKOUT Level Darkening. I would say about 50% ambient dimming. If you want to test, grab a 400 count sheet in close color and you will see roughly same effect but these have a delightful quality I have not seen in comparable price. Only single stitching in curtain but not a single loose thread. Shipping was very fast, Would recommend and buy again. ... show more

These inexpensive curtains are made decently. Since they don't have a liner, no one should expect them to completely block out light. They are very wrinkled when out of the package but that's what a turn in a warm dryer with a damp towel can fix - or steam them if you like. Color was perfect.
