These are beautiful drapes. I got wrap around rods, and since there are no gaps at the sides, these block out all light. they are nice curtains, we love the silver traveling thru the curtains and the base colors are beautiful, they are not full black out you can see thru them when sun shines on them, a little thinner then we expected we hope they will last. for the price they are wonderful. we wish they we wider so that we didn't have to buy so many panels to cover our sliders which is problematic for our living room setup when opening each morning. ... show more

I was hesitant to try these after reading some of the reviews that a lot of light gets in. I do not have that issue at all. I can't see my dog in the room unless I turn on a light. These are beautiful curtains and they do blackout but, i'm returning them because of the color they call it Taupe but, the main color of these are Beige the darker stripe u see in them is Taupe also the design/scroll pattern is shiny, which to me doesn't work in a (well in my) Living/dining room.
