I have 4 kids & I bought this for the youngest Son’s 9th B-Day. I needed something that didn’t rust & wheels that lit up. Well, The trucks are made of aluminum & the wheels have integrated leds (one of the best safety inventions of modern times). My oldest daughter (14) is a pretty decent skater. She jumped on it & instantly began enjoying it (as did my Son). My daughter bought this to learn on. It's been good so far. The wheels roll smoothly, the board is full size good for learning to balance on. There is a rattle that happens occasionally.
