I was prepared for the worst but was astonished with the beautiful finish and fit! I have owned a Shilke and a pro YTR Yamaha and wanted to see if I could find a little magic at 70 so didn’t want to spend a lot but hoping for something good enough to give myself a fighting chance to play again. I believe this will do. I just got her today but can create a sound from c-d and am starting with supported whole notes. I am already able to play a pretty nice sounding taps and have done so outside my beach condo patios the last to evenings at sunset (starting on middle c ) I plan to play this pro bono for veterans graveside services . ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I was wanting to join the church band my son was in for their Christmas concert. I had an old king trumpet, that felt and sounded like someone had shoved a sock down in it so I bought the EastRock Trumpet to get my chops back after 37 years so I could play in the concert. This trumpet is great! The valves work perfect, and it is beautiful. The valve oil that came with it was "good enough" but I had better and I use that with it. I got my chops back and played it in the concert and it sounded great! You can't beat this trumpet for the price. I have included a video of me practicing for the concert so the playing isn't perfect but you can get an idea of what it sounds like and looks like in action. ... show more

It was a starter trumpet but the middle valve stuck even after being oiled 3x. So I had to return the trumpet to get a new one. Hope the second one is better.
