The leaf works seamlessly when we choose to lengthen the table. It was not particularly difficult to assemble the pieces, just a bit time consuming. When the boxes are delivered, make sure they are in a convenient place because they are very heavy! We also purchased 4 counter height bar stools. The table was delivered by a semi on a pallet to our house. It’s very heavy. You’ll need help moving the boxes inside. Assembly is super easy. The table looks great and as pictured. We’ve enjoyed several meals as a family at this table. Great purchase.

Beautiful furniture and well built only problem was the weight and all all..all the packing which keep it from damage. That was worth it and a very good idea.. It is very very very heavy so hope you have help or good strong muscles if you set it up yourself.So far i'm not sure the table is water resistant and will find out i spill a lot of coffee.. Table and chairs and gorgeous but the insert where the leaf goes was broke upon delivery and 2 of the chairs had bolt holes that were cross threaded. In order to get replacements we were going to have to hold on to the broken stuff for 2 weeks and wait for them to drop off a new one before they could pick up the broke stuff. ... show more
