I still gave this item 5 stars because the actual product is great but the spray bottle that it comes in is not the best. It sprays out in a line (pictured) and requires it to be rubbed in. It doesn’t always spray out like this, but it does most of the time. I don’t see it as that major of an issue because it’s easy to just rub it in. The product itself works great and it has no deet in the formula which I feel is worth it. We live in a pretty wooded backyard with a ton of mosquitoes, and this bug spray repels them just as well as bug spray that has deet but with no strong chemical smell and nongreasy! We do reapply due to sweat but it’s worth it for better ingredients. ... show more

I am always the one who gets bit. Always… I have been using this in Key west and there are no see ums as well as mosquitoes. Every time I have had it on I have been protected. Sadly after my shower before bed I did not and got bit badly since a sliding glass door was left open. And sure enough found me. Says it works for 12 hrs. I’ve used it for 8. Works. And this size fits in your purse easily or beach bag. LOVE that it does not smell and not sticky after you rub it in. So thankful some thing has been created better than deet. I got told about this as my exterminator shared this product really does a good job and less noxious than deet products. Wish those bugs would not bite is! Love the travel size and shape BUT can't get product out of it. Nothing at all. Definitely not worth the $29.95 we paid for the four travel size containers. I'd love to try the actual product - I bought this after reading all the positive reviews, but not sure now. Going to return. I'm bummed. 🙁

After I plopped it on my husband and me, I went to reapply and it just would not drop out any more liquid. I shook it and kept trying. I put it away and about 2 hours later i took it out again and it began working again. I don't trust the product to be consistently working. I am a mosquito magnet and also have sensitive skin that has reacted badly to a lot of other (especially deet based) products. I finally tried this spray and am as happy as can be. Now, I can work in the garden, sit out on the patio, dine outdoors all without needing to wear long pants/long sleeves or suffer from those nasty mosquitos bites. It works great, but as a warning, it's incredibly slippery if any of this product over-sprays onto tile or concrete floors. I typically keep a bottle of spray right inside the back door of our house so I remember to spray myself right before going outside. I have a standard size door mat right inside the door, and I usually stand on this mat when I spray my arms and legs. I did so as usual the first time I used this and I guess some overspray got outside the footprint of the mat onto the tile floor. All I did was take one step off the mat and my legs went right out from under me - - - bam, flat on my butt. It was so slippery I even had a hard time trying to get back up. I tested it out in the garage and the concrete garage floor becomes as slick as the tile inside did. It's odd because this product isn't oily or greasy on your skin at all, but for some reason, once it gets onto tile or smooth concrete, that surface turns as slick as ice. It doesn't stain or discolor (the mat or clothing), so my solution to this was just to buy a larger size door mat for right inside the back door. The product works great though, so just getting a larger mat was a simple and worthwhile adjustment to make. ... show more

I'm definitely a huge mosquito magnet and let me tell you this stuff actually works! I live out on 5 acres and the mosquitoes are horrible!
