    • Great vacuum for pet owners
This vacuum is unreal. We vacuum almost every day (sometimes multiple times a day) with a dog that sheds like crazy, not to mention we like to spend time in the yard. We are in and out of our house constantly, tracking in leaves, dirt, etc. This vacuum has made our lives so much easier. We can easily vacuum our entire 1800 square foot home in 20 minutes. The attachments are a great addition, especially the clip that allows you to carry two attachments on the vacuum itself. It's just a super versatile machine and is great for vacuuming your car. I also really love that the attachments fully come apart so you can clean everything thoroughly. The design of this machine is just ingenious. It's also pretty quiet for such a powerful vacuum. This is the first vacuum we've owned that our dog didn't hate! I will say it is quite heavy for a cordless vacuum, which doesn't bother us but may bother someone with mobility issues. ... show more

    • Gets the Whole Job Done
My wife and I have ended up living in several places at once as we have moved back to our original home city for family care taking. We have ended up needing to clean more than our own home. We don't have the time or energy to fuss with complex old cumbersome vacuum equipment. We have had other Dyson products and have come to trust them even though they are a bit pricy for sure. This vacuum is able to easily do a 2000 square foot house with light to medium dust on one charge. It comes with two batteries, so if we think we have a bigger project we charge both batteries. It also comes with two charger cords, so we can take one with us while the other is in a dedicated mounted location. I would say that this vacuum is a bit on the heavy side for my wife. For small jobs, she will definitely default to our older lighter Dyson vacuum. She will let me run this thing. The laser dust finder on the laser floor cleaning head works really well. I let a germaphobic friend borrow this vacuum for his home, and he complained about the paranoia the vacuum was going to cause because he could see every particle of dust. He immediately purchased his own Dyson vacuum to not take any chances. On my older Dyson, the battery was assembled to the handle and the motor unit. To change out the battery, one had to take the unit apart. On this unit, the batteries are swappable eliminating that older annoyance. This unit comes with lots of great tools and options. It's easy to transport and gets the jobs done with a minimum of fuss. NOTE: Amazon Vine Voice review guidelines encourage honest, unbiased and personal reviews of products.     • Amazing.
This vacuum is magical. I have had a shark for 10+ years. We decided to splurge on the Dyson and it was worth it. The first thing to note is this comes with a ton of attachments for literally anything you need, babydoll. I started with the smaller swivel head that has the green light for the hardwood flooring. I began on the medium setting and it was more than enough power to take care of the dog hair and dust without having to go over the same spot twice. The screen gave 30 min of runtime on this setting. The big test was going to be using it on my bedroom carpet and it passed with flying colors. I did feel like I needed to use it on the strongest power setting, which gave me 10 minutes of runtime. Thankfully, this comes with two batteries so completing the entire second floor of carpeting will be no problem. Emptying the vacuum feels like I'm firing a really cool plastic bazooka and it's one of my favorite parts of the whole process. My only complaint is that you have to press the trigger in order for it to remain running. You are not able to just click it on or off. It's a price I'm willing to pay. ... show more

    • Absolutely love, but buy from Amazon!
I absolutely love my new vacuum! I did receive the two cleaning heads, extra battery, and charger. I had to return the first one due to missing parts. The second time I made sure the vacuum was sold and shipped by Amazon. Customer service was excellent in helping me return the first one, and making everything right. My only complaint about this vacuum is that it’s a little heavy. When you vacuum the whole house, it begins to take a toll on my wrist and arm. I love the smaller cleaning head with the laser detect. It sucks up kitty litter like nobody’s business, plus I can finally see all the litter! I do wish there was a trigger lock. Just make sure if you’re considering this vacuum, and you don’t want missing parts, to make sure it is shipped and sold by Amazon. ... show more

    • Not an authorized dealer so Dyson will not honor warranty
Update: The seller on Amazon is not an official Dyson dealer. Consequently if you have problems will you have to deal with the seller instead. ONLY PURCHASE if you are comfortable with NOT having an actual warranty from Dyson. The Amazon dealer did replace the wand, but the new one is also very difficult to remove.. I purchased this machine in March, 2024, struggled with it a bit, and have been attempting to get warranty service since the end of May, 2024. It is now July 20, 2024 andI my machine is nonfunctioning. Like: When working, this machine is an amazing cleaning tool. The laser finds everything so the end result is wonderful. Dislike: Warranty service is non-existent. Initially, the wand on my machine was extremely difficult to detach. (It has to be detached to empty the bin.). But after about two months, it simply stuck and I reached out to Dyson for assistance. I have spent hours on their chat line and phone line asking for help. Some reps have simply cut me off and I have never heard back from the reps that said a resolution was coming. Thus I have a $699 machine that is nonfunctioning.
