The pinch pleat adds enough visual interest to make this comforter attractive even without a duvet cover on it and the fabric is soft to the touch without feeling cool. However, this doesn't have as much fill/weight as the two other down comforters I own, Dorrin Nessin and Greeneasy brands, both of which are all-season down comforters. It is possible that part of the reason is that the down feathers used in this comforter seem to be smaller than that used in the Dorrin Nessin but the Greeneasy one does have more loft. On the flip side, the lighter weight makes this comforter a better choice for summer use. At the time of this review, the comforter is listed as $145 which would be too much but there is a 50% off coupon which makes this a good deal for a lighter-weight down comforter. ... show more
