I just had to change a radiator and built into the radiator is the transmission cooler. Naturally, I didn't want all of the transmission fluid to drain out of the transmission when I disconnected the hoses. So, I simply clamped one of these on each hose and then when I disconnected it, only a tiny bit of fluid leaked. The rest was maintained in the hose. They were very easy to use. They close the hose securely without causing any damage and each clamp is infinitely adjustable. ... show more

    • It works and it’s gentle on the rubber tubing doesn’t destroy it

I used the middle size clamp in this case when I changed out my power steering reservoir on my car. It pinched off the hose with just enough pressure so that it wouldn’t leak, but yet didn’t destroy the hose did not leave any visible signs of damage worth every penny.
