  • Duped Into Buying Dead Batteries.
They were dead batteries, even though they had good till 2023 date. I tested them on two different battery testers and both of them registered "Replace/Low". When I put them into the testers I watched the needle slowly dip to "Replace/Low". I bought a quantity of five and each pack had 4 batteries, that's twenty useless batteries. I have never had this kind of problem when I buy them at the grocery or mall stores. ... show more

  • Both batteries were dead on arrival, they were made in 2013
Style: 2 Count
None of the batteries had charge, were made in 2013, I tried both on my car key FOB and went to the Toyota dealer thinking the key FOB was defective since batteries were new, actually both were dead, bought another battery in Walgreens and key fob worked fine.

  • Never worked this hard before, with sharp objects, to get a battery out of packaging
Style: 2 Count
I think Duracell is the best battery brand, by far. They outlast other things. I got some of these to replace batteries in my Timex indigo/weekender type watches. Two issues. 1) plan to spend some time getting to the battery in the packaging. To say it’s overkill on being protective for little ones is an understatement. It is dangerous trying to get this battery out of the package—for the adult. 2) For whatever reason, and I doubt it’s the bitter pill coating (which is a great great idea), these are a little thicker than normal Duracell or other brand 2016. On my Timex watches, other brands and older Duracells slipped right in the socket and stayed while I worked to get the back pressed onto the watch again. But these? They do not. They are a little thicker and it’s annoying. So, the battery is pressing back, springing out of the socket on the watches while trying to get the backs back on them. They are in there now though, and that’s like a 7 year life on these Timex watches. Maybe longer. Still. These seem mildly out of spec. I do expect a long lasting service and I like the brand. Just beware of a couple of things. ... show more

  • Right price, right fit, and it's Duracell! Definitely the best battery for all electronic devices!
Style: 2 Count
How on earth does one write a review on batteries? Out of all the name brands tried in the past, I rely on Duracell for dependability and they seem to last longer which probably means less leakage. I was a little hesitant when ordering these for Lucky Lou’s new LED high visibility light-up collar as instructions specified two CR2016 (3V) and these were DL2016 (3V), but the price was right, they fit, and more importantly they work. The batteries were ordered March 20, 2019 and arrived as described. I received two packs containing 2 batteries each (best before 3/2028) and as an added bonus they shipped in a box large enough to be considered a new “toy” for the cats! As for how long they will last, time will tell. With a new product and new batteries I don’t know how often the batteries will need to be replaced. The actual run time will vary daily with the frequency & duration of Lucky Lou going in-and-out nightly requiring the collar to be turned on-and-off. Obviously, the more the collar is used, the more the battery drains but I’ll update this post when the collar is ready for replacements. As for the unopened package, it will also be a test of great shelf life. ... show more

  • Zero volt battery
Style: 1 Count
I purchased it to replace one in my car key on May 18. It is not working. Till today I used a multimeter to test, The battery has zero volt! While the one already in the car key shows 3V. Don’t buy it! It is a waste of money. It is shameful I can not get the refund for it is too late.

  • Defective...please read my comments.

First, I buy products from Amazon all year long, and I rarely leave negative reviews. I want to share my experience so something similar doesn't happen to you. I purchased this to replace a dead key fob battery for my 2016 vehicle. Due to our states "Stay at Home" order I ordered it from amazon. After it arrived I replaced the old battery with this one and it wouldn't work. I checked the fob to be sure I didn't put it in wrong and everything was good except it wouldn't work. I hadn't driven my car (or used my fob) for a couple weeks and thought maybe I needed to reprogram the fob, so I googled it and followed video instructions for my car make and year, and nada! I called around to see if one of the chain Parts stores reprogrammed them (nope); called a battery store (nope), and a locksmith who said they could try to reprogram it but no guarantee. I finally called the dealer, who you might imagine wanted big $$$ to do it (despite me having purchased 3 cars from them in the past). I called a different locksmith to see if they were any cheaper and the technician said to me, "although its highly unlikely, have you considered that the new battery you bought is bad?". No, I had not. And maybe someone else would have thought of it sooner (and not made 5 different calls), but it never occurred to me that the new battery was defective. Luckily, I only shelled out another $5 -- I got a 2 pack this time, from a brick and mortar store close by :) Lesson here: sometimes the least likely answer is the most obvious one. Check the dates on products that are not high volume items...they do expire! And yes, Amazon gave me a refund even though I threw away the original packaging! ... show more

  • Not Worth it
Style: 2 Count
So I have bought batteries over the year from Amazon and the results have been hit and miss. This one was a huge miss as when I got the batteries they were not fully charged. I needed these for my key fob to my truck and they only lasted 2 days before it would unlock/lock my doors. Had to go to Batteries Plus and buy some and now over 2 weeks those batteries i bought at the Plus are still working fine. I checked these batteries as I bought two sets the battery tester shows 20% power only so no wonder why they did not last. Go to the store and get batteries when you need them. For the price you pay here and then having to return and maybe pay a return fee it is easier to go to the store and get them. ... show more
