  • Would not even fire up.
I rarely write reviews but feel compelled to in this case. After I put the heater together and put in 5 gallons (half a tank) of fresh kerosene but the heater refused to fire with an E1 code. From previous heaters I was aware of the pump pressure adjustment in the back but to no avail. I called the manufacturer technical support line but all they could suggest was the same pressure adjustment that I had already played with. I obliged and followed all of their instructions but again to no avail. They suggested that I did not have enough fuel in the heater however half a tank (accurately reflected by the tank fill gauge) should certainly be enough. Am returning this and will not ask for a replacement. ... show more

  • Duration heat 135k btu
Bought this to heat my woodworking shop which is about 20 x 25 and not really insulated. Using off road diesel for fuel, this thing is great. No real smell or smoke and puts out excellent heat. Thermostat could be a little more sensitive, but overall, I am very happy with it.

Bought in October, 2019. Stopped working one week after one year warranty expired. Update--company was contacted and diagnosed problem over the phone. They are sending a new part so I may have to re-rate this product in a month or two.

  • Bent up on delivery
Haven’t used yet but had to bend parts back into shape. Box was trashed, had dents. Will fully review when I get a chance to use it. Update. Heats good and quick. Have a 20x32 shop and raised the temp 5 deg in about 7 min.

  • Missing pieces and scratches on tank
Received heater. Opened box and “cord wraps” were missing, from box. Then I look over the actual heater/tank and on the side where you start it there are scratches on the tank, that almost appear as if someone tried to sign it. I took pictures of this.

  • Lot of fumes
It really puts out the heat, but it seems to burn a bit rich. Wish there was a way to adjust how rich it burns. Strong unburned kerosene smell
