Petty good for what you get. It's very sturdy and works. I suggest wearing a wait trainer to not hurt your sides. I also adjusted the ball length so it's not snaking into things so be careful with that. It is also VERY LOUD. I normally listen to music and blast.my head phones If your adjust your foot to different positions such as one foot forward and the other one back, it helps if your having trouble. This is a fun thing to use though I’m not sure if it’s going to pull in the waist or create stronger abs. The main thing is that it’s super loud. I feel bad using it in my apartment because I’m sure the neighbors hear the noise loud and clear.

Assembly super easy, super sturdy but does it hurt anyone else to use it? It feels like it’s pinching me. I have another brand similar to this one and that one is more comfortable to use but no weight was included with my other one so I wanted to try this one.

The weight of the ball was heavier then my previous one I purchased....which now I am trying to figure out the effective weight of the previous weighted hulu hoop. I tried a different brand of this weighted fitness hoop and it didn't last me 30 days of daily use so I decided to try this one. It seems well made, and the component on the inside that spins the weight around you seems pretty sturdy. I will say that this particular unit can be a little uncomfortable to wear as it feels like it's pinching you whereas the one I had before did not. The more I used I sort of got used to it and it doesn't feel as bad now. I HIGHLY SUGGEST MEASURING YOUR WAIST PRIOR TO USE TO REALLY SEE YOUR RESULTS! also if you have kittens you may want to be careful using this around them. My kitten has been completely fascinated by the weighted ball circling around and I'm scared he will try to "catch the ball"! No mishaps yet, but maybe put the cats away before use! I don't know how much this actually works your core, or if I'm doing something wrong, but I use it while watching tv& my fitbit does say it gets my heart rate up, so that's still a plus. I couldn't get the hang of it right away because I wasn't getting enough momentum, but that's easy to fix by swinging the ball with your hand first. I was also scared of breaking it while adding/removing pieces for size, but it seems quite durable. Probably want to wear a decent layer shirt when using it, you can feel a slight pinch on your skin from the runner. Nothing painful. It's fun& easy to use once you get the hang of it. ... show more

I have only been using this for two days so I have no miracle story to share, but I doubt I will ever have one. Really quick, some facts: most of the other ones of these I read about come with 24 links. This definitely has more, but I have a feeling that they are smaller than other brands' links based on what I have read other peoole using for their height & weight vs what I use and mine. It is definitely loud; I would not be able to watch TV while doing it and I can't hear my phone timer going off when it's two feet away from me over this. I read while I do it! I had to shorten the length of the weight to fit in the space I have and that technically makes it harder. Even so, my FitBit (brand new, less than a month old so has good technology & detection) did not even register that I was exercising the first time I used this. The second time when I had a better hold of how to keep the weight moving, it registered that I was doing some activity and gave me some "zone" minutes, but I wasn't breaking a sweat until the very end. I don't consider myself to be especially fit or active and I don't consider this a challenging workout. The challenging part is getting the rhythm & movement down and keeping that weight from losing momentum. I DID have some soreness in my core after the first day but I don't know if that was from the exercising or if it was from those things pushing against me for 30 minutes. DEFINITELY wear a shirt and put long hair up in a bun. I don't know how this will play out. I am trying to get into a regular workout routine and plan to use this as a supplement for days I don't feel satisfied by my workout or days that I don't have the time or energy for my real workout. It's kinda fun and a relatively cheap way to help me stay motivated at the start of my journey, so I'm going to keep it. I will update my review if my opinion changes! ... show more
