I've had it installed a week, and am really pleased with this stereo. Seamless wireless CarPlay integration, decent sound, a really nice 8 inch screen, and a volume knob. All for just over $200! Install was relatively easy - just get the right harnesses, connect the right wires, and you are good to go. You have to pay attention, but it is not that complicated or difficult. I love this head unit. Wireless CarPlay works amazingly well! Touchscreen is snappy and it has a very reliable connection. Never had any connection issues and never had to take my phone out of my pocket to fiddle with anything. Just worked every time. Installation was quite easy as well!

Features latest wired/wireless Carplay options, and sound quality is great. Installation was not hard. I just used the sleeve / cage with dash kit for my car. Pros: Very good sound, and no noise compared to my other unit from Boss Audio that was returned... Carplay works great both wired and wireless. Display is articulating both height adjustment, rotate and tilt Cons: GPS Antenna is included but has no built-in Navigation. No on screen microphone. Need to connect the supplied wired microphone and route it around into the pillar Display seems bulkier and bigger bezel, when compared to other 9 inch displays from other chinese brands - ATOTO, IYING etc. No USBC input, although it's very common and compact connector these days ... show more

The 10.1” model has a terrible screen. The viewing angle is so narrow that it will almost always look terrible for anyone in the car. The 10.1” not have wireless CarPlay or android auto like some of the smaller units. The way it’s listed on Amazon makes this really confusing for the customer. The way the screen is mounted to the unit leads to a constant clicking sound as it flexes while driving. Plus it is not very responsive. The included backup camera’s dynamic range is really poor. I have loved other dual radios in the past but this one is really disappointing. ... show more

    • Hard to beat for the money

I bought this to replace the $70 generic floating head unit I bought last year, which I really only did to see if I could teach myself to wire in a modern head unit and reverse camera to a 30 year-old car. I could, and that unit worked fine for a few months, but it increasingly struggled to recognize when my phone was plugged in, the display was bad, etc. You get what you pay for. This unit is WAY better. But still, you get what you pay for, so the sound quality may not be enough for true audiophiles. But it's more than good enough for me. The screen is sharp and clear, I've seen other reviews suggesting lag but mine has none - my big test is scrolling rapidly through songs in Apple Music. This unit has no problem doing that & will play whichever song you finally stop on, while the generic unit didn't have the processing power to keep up. My only caution is that a 10 inch screen is BIG. Make sure it fits your car. Mine fits the dash just fine, and doesn't block the vents, BUT I had to make a small modification so that I could use my parking brake normally. Otherwise it's really great, with good sound quality, a good screen, and an actual volume knob, which you want - trust me. My last one didn't & forced me to press the screen a dozen times to crank the volume up or down. This really modernizes an older car. One of the best purchases I've ever made. ... show more

This is a nice unit. It has everything you need to bring your vehicle up to date. So far only wired Android auto works and it sounds great. The only complaint I have is that if you are just using Bluetooth, it sounds crackly (Plugging in via USB C for Android auto fixes that) the screen only tilts left to right, but slides up and down. I'm a huge fan of the physical buttons and volume knob which seems to be non existent these days. Gps works great, calling in/out is great. Screen resolution isn't great (Maybe 480p 😂) but it gets the job done. Honestly if you are looking for a great solid unit without spending $1000 plus for a 10" stereo this is it. I don't notice really any difference between this and a $1400 one I tried out at best buy. ... show more

The wireless CarPlay functionality it works as if it’s an OEM a capability. Whenever I take a phone call, the microphone is clear. When it comes to aftermarket units, I only buy dual electronics. Every other one sounds like you’re underwater when you take a call.
