Too many skin products are off the charts expensive. This is not one of them. It works extremely well, is lightweight, absorbs quickly and people have noticed that my facial skin looks "younger."

Okay this stuff may be expensive, but you definitely get your money’s worth. I’m on an acne regimen from the derm that totally dries my skin out & I use this in conjunction with cerave/ceraphil moisturizers. I use it kind of as a serum before my day moisturizer. The texture is almost like a gel, it dries fast leaving your skin with a glowy, dewy finish. The hydration is great, I can’t use it alone bc of my acne prescriptions but if I use the cetaphil/cerave without this, it doesn’t hydrate as well. I would recommend using this as a serum before moisturizing if you have dry skin, and a stand-alone (among with an spf) if you have oily skin. The craziest part - I ran out of this last week and the pump did not give me any sign that the product was running low until the very last pump. I pulled out the inside to see what was left and I’m not joking - there was absolutely no product left. It looked like the bottle was brand new inside and had never even held moisturizer before. It may be expensive, but it lasts until the very last drop!!! ... show more

I've heard of Drunk Elephant from social media and how much people liked it. Especially this product. It seemed like a favorite to anyone who tried it. I figured if I was gonna have one thing from Drunk Elephant (possibly try it once since it's pretty expensive), it would be the hydration serum. So, I decided to buy it and try it. I just got it yesterday and now I'm returning it the next day. I don't know what's in it, but it burned my skin. Which is very surprising considering it's a water-based formula and meant to hydrate you. The worse Ive heard is that it dries your skin but that's pretty much it. Not only that, I can put just about anything on my face and not have much of reaction to it (maybe some drying or slight irritation. And even then it goes away after a few minutes) but in just the few seconds I put this on my face, not only will my face turn red as if I've been sitting in the sun all day, but it will burn. Taking ice to it helped but even as I'm typing this review, I still have a slight burning feel and still have slight redness. With that being said, I'm definitely not gonna get this again and unfortunately, I'm alittle too scared to try anything else from Drunk Elephant so I think I'm gonna stick to my Korean skincare products. Sorry Drunk Elephant. I've heard good things from your skincare line but I don't think it's gonna work out with me. ... show more
