    • It has useful information but is outdated.
It is well written but the information is several years old. Drone technology has progressed significantly since the publication date is 2015. It should have been updated but it has not. I wouldn't have bought it if I had known but the publication date wasn't in Amazon's summarry description.

Easy read, easy to follow, wealth of information. Mark LaFay does an excellent job of explaining how drones work. A reference book for any Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS/Drone) Operator! I have highlight and tabbed the book if that tells you anything!

Probably the worst cobbled together anything for dummies. It's certainly not current. It reads like somebody grabbed a bunch of different subjects and threw them together randomly. Multiple sections with repeat text/pictures, no real cohesive thought and the picture quality is absurdly awful! Even my drone instructor admits that the book is dreadful! I cannot believe that some of the folks who rated this book as 4 or 5 were even look at the same volume. Deserves less than a 1. ... show more
