    • Installation headache!
First, I have no space for a drill press and not really need most of the occasions. Second, I just happen to have an extra Bosch (1006VSR) drill collecting dust on the shelve. For this price, I gave it a try. BUT installation is not a breeze, to fit my drill through the stand collar is a big pain. My drill fit the 43mm dia. requirement, however the keyless chuck wouldn’t fit through the collar, I have to pry it with a big flat screw driver. Once I got it in then I noticed the collar is to thick, it would jam the chuck when the collar screw tight-up. The same headache to remove the drill of the stand. I grinded the collar down (around 1/8”). After all that I able to make a few test drills. Is it worth it! Only if you have the patient and time. ... show more

    • Inexpensive and functional
This is a great option for people who need a drill press but (like me) do not have room or money for a proper one. Of course it has its limitations but for what it is, works great. The main limitation is the too small, too light and not cast-iron base (I believe something got lost in translation and they used "cast" to mean "molded" and "iron" to mean "steel", not realizing that "cast iron" is a particular alloy in English -- as a not native speaker I made similar mistakes myself when I was learning the language). But you can improve the base with some spare piece of wood and/or build a fence for it and at this price you will get something very useful at a very nice price. ... show more

    • Do not buy.........piece of poor quality equipment not fit for USA market.
If I could give this product a zero star rating, I would. The product is not made for the American tool market, the quality is of low caliber and the parts are plastic, the instructions to not contain any English (or any works for that matter) words and the illustrations are poorly done. The tool is a good idea and would serve a good purpose but the execution is very poorly done, a higher quality build material and better instructions would result in a slighty higher price, but then again the tool would be a value buy and work for most handly man projects. Sorry to give such a poor review, but I purchased the tool for a specific task and was extremely disappointed upon opening the unmarked container. ... show more
