Description

The Dri-Eaz LGR 7000XLi is a low grain refrigerant dehumidifier that can remove up to 130 pints of water per day under the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM) test conditions of 80 degrees F and 60% relative humidity (RH). This dehumidifier draws 8.3 amps on a 115V power supply, and processes air at a rate of up to 325 cubic feet per minute (CFM). It has a built-in humidistat to automatically control the RH at a pre-set level, and built-in sensors that monitor performance parameters, such as air inlet and outlet temperatures. The digital control panel displays sensor readings, settings, and errors in plain-language messages to minimize the need to interpret code status messages. Display panel languages include Spanish, German, French, and English. This dehumidifier has a pump basin for holding condensate that is sealed to help prevent spills. The pump basin is attached to a 40' hose for removal of condensate across wide spaces. This dehumidifier has a 25' detachable power cord for access to a power supply across large spaces. The air outlet on this dehumidifier fits 12" ducting (sold separately) to facilitate control of air circulation and drying efficiency. Its rotomolded polyethylene housing provides consistent wall thicknesses and strong outside corners for resistance to damage and leaks, and it is designed to be stacked with other LGR7000XLi models for efficient use of storage space. This dehumidifier is equipped with wireless technology to track site conditions and equipment performance over the Internet when used with the HygroTrac Remote Monitoring System (sold separately). It uses a 3M HAF Filter (included) to protect internal components from dirt (replacement filters sold separately). Intertek Testing Services, a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) using Edison Testing Laboratory (ETL) safety standards, has certified this product to Underwriters Laboratories (UL) standard for safety for dehumidifiers UL 474, and to Canadian Standards Association (CSA) 22.2 no. 92 standard for dehumidifiers. It also is verified by the AHAM for water removal capacity and energy factor. Dehumidifiers remove moisture from the air. They are commonly used for drying applications in the cleaning, building maintenance, and restoration industries, and to control the humidity levels in office or homes. A refrigerant dehumidifier uses the same kind of refrigeration technologies found in air-conditioning systems. It lowers the air temperature and condenses its water vapor into water. The water, also called condensate, collects in a reservoir while the air is reheated and returned to the local environment. The condensate is removed to a drain, sump pump, or larger disposal receptacle. A refrigerant dehumidifier usually has a humidistat to measure the relative humidity (RH) of the local environment, and cycles the machine off and on to maintain a pre-set RH. It also may have sensors to monitor a variety of operational parameters. It works most effectively in warm, moist conditions. Low grain refrigerant (LGR) dehumidifiers pre-cool the air to condense the water vapor efficiently, so they can operate over a wider range of temperatures and RH levels than standard refrigerant dehumidifiers. Dri-Eaz manufactures dehumidifiers, air movers, structural drying systems, and air scrubbers for water damage restoration applications, and for the drying, cleaning, and building maintenance industries. The company, established in 1980, is based in Burlington, WA.

  • Very Good Dependable Product
Style: Dehumidifier
This dehumidifier works almost too well! It’s great for bigger jobs and you can always count on dri-Eaz products to give you dependable professional results! I’ve had it almost a year and it’s working beautifully!

  • Broke 2 times inside of 4 years
Style: Dehumidifier
I used this dehumidifier in my basement, and when it worked it performed its function very well. I purchased it new. However, after 2 years it required a $500+ repair. After another 2 years it apparently has lost coolant because the compressor runs, but the coil temperature does not drop sufficiently. During 4 years of ownership it has not been used in a commercial application. The only time it was ever moved outside of my basement was to take it in for repair. I purchased this unit because two previously purchased low-cost dehumidifiers (each less than $300) failed in short time. I believed a brand used commercially would be of higher quality and would last a long time, certainly more than 2 years between costly repairs. I am very dissatisfied with this product. ... show more

  • Beast of a dehumidifier!
Style: Dehumidifier
This is a beast of dehuey. By far the best dehumidifier I have ever used or owned. I have this in a greenhouse and it beats every other dehumidifier in there by a mile. I had it draining into a 10 gallon reservoir and it has overflowed that overnight multiple times. I now use a 32 gallon reservoir to have it drain into. Dri-eaz is the Ferrari of dehumidifiers, pricey but worth every penny-- if you want to remove a lot of water vapor FAST buy this dehumidifier! ... show more

  • Took a star off for being dented.
Style: Dehumidifier
Item works well as far as we can tell. It arrived and was dented due to delivery but still works.

  • LGR 7000XLi -- is a beast
Style: Dehumidifier
So, our regular basement dehumidifier, the Aprilaire Model 1830, is pretty amazing. However, it's an everyday dehumidifier. Our neighbors had a pipe burst, which flooded our basement... And now the LGR 7000XLi is in action for a week in order to see if we can save our drywall... It looks promising. Based on research online, this was the recommended go-to for flooding recovery... But I should have also rented some industrial fans. ... show more

  • Really well built
Style: Dehumidifier
Definitely not a consumer version. Real Deal Commercial. Will pull humidity out of air quickly. You could probably use to produce drinking water out of air.Pretty impressive although thats not what it is for.

  • Crazy great! Easy to use and move
Style: Dehumidifier
We have 27k cubic feet in our warehouse. Crazy great! Easy to use and move . Didn't realize same equipment Servpro uses until I recognized mine in one of their commercials . Don't leave overnight without draining outside or something. We initially put the hose in a 30 gallon trashcan and was all apparent that would be overflowing by morning. Pretty quiet. Also have a drum fan that's louder than dehumidifier. Worth every penny. ... show more
