I love this heater! I was using a crappy $20 space heater and decided to upgrade, and it's made such a difference! The selling points for me were the remote control, the oscillation, and the thermostat. I love that I can set it to a specific temp and then just forget about it (until I turn it off). With my other heater, I was constantly turning it off and on, rotating it, and adjusting between the two heat settings (high and low). This has 3 heat settings and adjusts itself, so it uses less energy than with me fiddling with it all day. It's also quieter than what I was using. No noticeable smell from mine. It's noticeably cheaper than other brand models that do the same thing, which is why I chose it. It even worked after having liquid spilled on it! Although I kinda wish it hadn't because my friend's dog peed on it and I didn't know until I turned it on and urine steam came shooting out of it. That's a smell I won't forget in a hurry, and now it's baked in. Thank goodness I bought the insurance for it! I'm definitely getting the same model to replace it and am sad I'll have to use the old crappy one until it's delivered. Note that this doesn't have a safety switch on the bottom, so it still runs when knocked over. I recommend not peeing on it, if at all possible. ... show more

I live in a basement apartment with only one heater vent in the kitchen, so I grabbed this small little heater for the colder periods in the Pacific Northwest (the lows are typically above freezing with a few cold snaps in the fall and winter). I was pleasantly surprised by how well this tiny heater warmed up my space. I like the different functions -3 different fan levels, swivel off and on, timer and remote control. It works best for bedrooms or small spaces and for moderate climates - I wouldn't grab this for a whole apartment in freezing climates- and it's so small that it's barely noticable - and I like the white color. I turned it up to 85 to see how much output and air flow it created and it was quick! Also, there has never been a smell coming from it unlike some new space heaters. It's so small that I could easily put it on a dresser or side table. The fan with it is very quiet - I can barely tell when it's running. ... show more

I like Dreo products. This particular heater I use in a room that is always cold and I don't like having to bundle up. Very portable and lightweight. Tip o er cut off safety is a MUST with 3 dogs. Great temperature adjustability and so very quiet. This is more of a personal heater so it won't heat a large area but I knew that going in. Having 3 large , long haired dogs is a hair issue so having a removable intake filter is important to me to be able to clean and maintain optimum airflow. Oscillating feature is also a huge bonus. It is a fantastic heater. As far as being durable, I've personally never had any issues with any of my Dreo heaters. My bedroom heater is an oil filled radiator and it's still going strong too. I needed a small space heater for a room that is always cold. I purchased this item but wasn't expecting much for the price. Wow is all I can say. This little heater is awesome. It warmed the up a 350 sq. ft. room in no time. Works great. Nice and quiet too. Wife wanted one for her office. I bought her the taller tower one. It actually doesn't work as well as the smaller one but it still warmed up her office taking a lot longer though. The fan could be a little more powerful. I have a fan behind mine set on lowest speed. It helps circulate the heater faster. Once the room is warm I shut the fan off. This little heater is definitely worth the price. This pushes out LOTS of heat, especially for its size. You can run it at 3 different intensity levels (H1/H2/H3) or change it to eco mode to set an exact temperature. It shuts off automatically once the room temp matches what you set. The remote is easy to use, and the other features work great--oscillation, timer, and fan only mode. You can even mute the beeping sound the unit makes when you press the buttons. This is my first Dreo product and I'll definitely consider them in future if I need another space heater. ... show more

I have had this Dreo ceramic heater for two months. It has been steadily getting colder by the day in the PNW and I did not expect to be this satisified. Great features and it's quiet, keeps us warm and the cat loves it. We moved from a much warmer year round climate and found the heating system in our home is great in only one area of the home. I decided to get a second space heater and noticed what appeared to be the same one by a different seller for $15 less. Be careful of the brand, the second one I ordered is very noisy and has no thermostat so it will not turn off when it reaches desired temp. My bad for not paying attention.
