Got this to help with lower back pain and it’s definitely helped! Great quality, it goes right back into shape, it’s soft like being on a marshmallow is the only way I can describe it. My sleep quality has definitely improved because I’m not tossing around all night because I’m in pain. It fit perfect on my full size bed and no smell when I opened it. Been using it for 3 weeks. I got the 3” for a queen bed. My mattress is very firm and im not in a position to get the mattress I want right now (dream mattress is from Saatva). I have a 3” feather mattress topper from Pure Down (as seen in the picture on top of the foam). It is very fluffy but I could still feel slight firmness from my mattress when the feathers got flat if I didn’t fluff it or rotate it. This foam topper wasn’t crazy expensive and I chose this instead of the Lucid brand. I also wasn’t sure I’d feel much of a difference since I already had the feather topper. Anyways I was wrong. I have it under my feather topper and it’s like sinking into a marshmallow every night now. I typically have back and neck pain/tightness from sleeping (I’m mostly a tummy sleeper) and I feel a big difference. I sleep longer and I’m actually excited to get in my bed. For other tummy sleepers ‼️ If you prefer two mattress toppers, get a flatter pillow to save your neck/spine. Both toppers added 6inches to my bed and getting on and off the bed takes a few extra seconds since I’m short 🤧 I can’t really speak on heat or insulation cause it’s under my feather topper but my room is on the warm side and I wasn’t overheating. Be careful with how you move it around straight out of the package cause it can tear. A piece came off and I didn’t even know where it came from. And there’s another tear somewhere but it doesn’t impact comfort and functional levels. It’s recommended based on reviews to let it air out and fluff up for 24-48 hours but I was impatient. I waited for 6 hours and that was enough for me. Overall, if you want to sleep on a marshmallow go for it 🙂↕️ i may even try the 4” topper at some point. ... show more

I have a secondhand mattress that’s probably over a decade old, has dips, and slowly has gotten uncomfortable to lay on; I wake up with back pain. I got this, I still place it under my flat sheets even though I think you’re supposed to lay it on top. My mattress is a Full & my sheets are Queen size since I prefer bagginess so I can’t speak on whether you’ll have difficulty putting your sheets on after. This has relived my back pain associated with my mattress, doesn’t get too hot but I have my fan on always. Fits perfectly on the mattress without being too short/long/wide. Smells fine under my flat sheet, but the smell wasn’t even that bad straight out of the packaging. Definitely worth the price if you can’t afford a whole new mattress, want to relieve back pain during sleep, or want to prolong the life of your current one. ... show more

I’d rate this a 5 if it didn’t tear in a few places. Large tears. Only after 5th use. It truly is very comfortable. I don’t do well on air mattresses at all! I need a soft bed, this really helped quite a bit!
