Since his vision is getting worse he asks even more questions like, “What’s on fire?” “Where did you move my cutlass and eye patch?” “Is this a load beading wall?” You know… the usual. I love this digital clock! First, it is red, not the cancelled blue light. The digits are very large and easy to read when your eyes are blurry from sleep. It is very easy to adjust the brightness with a vertical slider on the back of the unit, especially when you have housekeepers who always seem to accidentally grab/touch the dimming switch. We wanted a digital clock with large numerals that would sit on a shelf instead of hanging on the wall. We didn’t need a radio or anything else. This clock does have an alarm but we haven’t used it. The dimmer is something we didn’t know we needed but it has been very useful. I recommend this clock.
