Both my kiddos have the Dream Egg wall plug in version. I had a different travel kind that wasn't very loud and the buttons stopped working after a while. This one is much better! Same sound quality as the wall plug in one, easy to use and good battery life. I only use the white noise setting. I loved it. It is very easy to carry and use. I loved the white color and it is easy to operate as it many options of white noise. I always fit it into my hand bag. It has timer feature. The size is practical to carry or hang it to the stroller. Great functionality and light.

I think this sound machine would still be good to use for kids, as they may not pick up on the sound quality or it may not bother them. I bought this product hoping to use it myself, however. The sound quality of the speaker is not great, and at high volumes will intermittently make a crackling noise. I purchased a second one, thinking the first was just defective, and didn’t have the issue. This product has some nice features: -Multiple sound options (I just use it for white noise, but my son likes to play with the music and lullaby options) -I like that the buttons on the side separate out the sound options (a button for white noise, one for music, and one for nature sounds) rather than having to click through the whole selection of sounds -Long battery life -Quick charging -The buttons glow slightly so it can be seen in the dark -The volume gets decently loud, comparable to a typical fan sound machine ... show more
