We used to think it would get better as she ate solids and grew out of her reflux, but she has never been able to ride over 20 mins without throwing up. My older kid has occasionally seemed just slightly bothered in cars/planes/boats in the past couple months so when we were going to take a long flight I got these just Incase. As being 4 and kinda weird about meds always asking how does it taste. I took one with him. As the dose is 1/2 for the age I took the other. It’s pretty good a little after taste but not bad. Quick drink of water made that fine. Was better then chewable Tylenol or things of that nature. And seemed to do a good job as I didn’t even take my regular Dramamine. I only get slightly motion head spinning (seems to have gotten worse with age but that’s a different story.) have never gotten sick but again just Incase. Very happy with these. Our 2.5 year old hated long car rides and it finally clicked that it was because he got car/motion sickness. We needed a solution and Dramamine for children resolved the problem completely. He is also very picky so was concerned that he may not be willing to take it before we head out in the car, but because of the taste and consistency, he thinks the pill is candy. I used it for my 3 year old son who had never travel in bus. We took the bus to Mexico in a 24hour trip and I only had to give it to him 30mins before we boarded and since he was doing so great I did not have to give him the second dosage. On our way back I did exactly the same thing and gave him only one dosage at the beginning and it went as expected. No signs of motion sickness. 2 and 1/2 year old suddenly starting getting car sick even on 20 min car rides.Threw up on our last trip. Switched her to face forward and put her in the middle so she could see out the windshield....this may have completely taken care of the problem, but i doubt it bc I get sick too. Bought this to help take any edge off if she still felt sick, but was concerned she would be very drowsy. I gave her a half a tablet in her yogurt 45 min before we left and she didn't even flinch when chewing it. 45 min later at her nap time she was acting like the same ol kid. Loaded her in the car and she fell asleep about 20 min in and woke up when we got there after an hour and 15 min drive. No ill effects or left over drowsiness. 6 hours later we left and took the chance the medication would still help...she did great. It says on the package it will last 6 to 8 hours. ... show more

My 2 year old daughter gets car sick on rides over 30 minutes so this is a must for us. We found giving it to her an hour before we left for a ride worked best. They didn't make her fall asleep unless she was already tired which is fine with me. She took it pretty easily, like it was a piece of candy although we are very lucky to have a child that doesn't fight us on taking these kind of things. She didn't have any issues chewing or swallowing it as she is sensitive to those kind of issues. It doesn't work 100% of the time but I don't expect it to and she only gets sick rarely if she does at all anymore. It has made taking her places more enjoyable and easier. ... show more

My little one gets car sick after 30 minutes of driving. She’s 5, so I gave her 1/2 a tablet for a 2-hour drive and she did great! No complaint of throw up or sickness!! Tried it again a week later for a 6-hour drive out of state and gave her a full tablet 30 minutes before departure and she did great the whole way! Even while watching a movie and playing her tablet (which I didn’t let her do before)! In both instances, the pill never made her sleepy and she seemed like her normal self. These are awesome and the little case it comes in makes in convenient to keep in your car/purse. I wish I would’ve discovered these sooner!! They’re a must have!! ... show more
