So this came nicely packaged and it has it own carrying bag. When I opened it I thought I possibly picked the wrong size However I love the side starps that allow you to make it tighter I do think I still might have gotten the wrong size However once adjusted it gave me the lower back support that I've been needing. I have a dip in my lower spin and since I have a nice size bottom I can't sleep on my back because it's super uncomfortable knowing that your whole back isn't on the bed yet you have the gap 🙃 . This is a back support brace that fits perfectly, is easy to tighten and comes with two types of triangular pads to finetune the support in the back center. It also comes with a mesh storage bag and a very detailed 37(!) page instruction manual that is very well written and covers all bases. Construction is impeccable, all quality material and excellent finish all around. The logo in the front offers a good way to tell which side faces up. Another way to tell correct orientation is remembering that the lower edge is a bit more wavy. The flat triangular pad come attached by default with the long side up and I assume that the other pad should attach the same way. The attachment strip is symmetric and both pads fit both ways, but the instructions don't mention the correct orientation. All they say is: "... Attach your chosen pad to the inside of the brace at the lumbar region". It never actually says in which orientation to attach! Even more confusing is that the pictures on the amazon page show the pad pointing up. So what is correct? That could definitely be made more clear! Could it be that both orientations are valid and we should try both and pick what feels better? Yes, the instruction booklet is very long and not only has general instructions, but also sections for all the possible symptoms where a back-brace can help, even a section on recommended exercises, a FAQ, and general guidelines for a healthy lifestyle. Overall, an excellent small back brace that is comfortable and breathable while offering excellent support. Definitely an upgrade over my old one. A keeper! ... show more

This back support brace seems well made and is easy to use and adjust. It is comfortable to wear as long as you have something under it - it is kind of scratchy against bare skin. The included pads are a nice addition to provide extra support and compression right in the middle of the lower back. Comes packed in a handy storage/carrying bag. I am on the tall (6' 3") side and can get back pains from crouching too much (such as when I am doing the dishes), so I like to have a brace around at home to wear when the pain gets a bit too acute. When I saw this product, I decided to give it a try, as the braces that I have used are more basic in nature and are getting up there in age; and my initial impression over this product has been great. The brace actually comes with two different kinds of attachments that you can attach (using velcro), with one being the 3D version. I gave it a try, but it was a little too much for me; I found the basic triangle to be more comfortable, especially since the pain is minor in nature. It is good to have the option though, especially since my wife can get a bit more severe back pain. The best feature of the brace is that you can tighten it in two layers; one is the more traditional bigger velcro; then, you have two extra straps that you can further tighten the brace with. It makes this so much easier to tighten as you want rather than the more basic braces that have just a single layer attachment. Just for that alone, this will become my go-to brace from now on. I also find the fabric to breathable and comfortable as well, and I find the overall support that I get from the brace to be comparable to others that I have tried. This is a good quality material and can easily be worn without much discomfort. Discomfort meaning, since we're not used to wearing such a thing, it does help in some way to support the lower lumbar of our backs especially when carrying heavy stuff. That support is evident when using this. Although I myself could not guarantee that this will fix anything for lower back pain. It's just a support with some discomfort especially if you have a big belly.     • One of the best in a very large field

I put this brace on and just didn't want to take it off. It comes with two removable and exchangeable lumbar pads: one a plain triangle of the same material as the belt, and the other a triangle with three raised bumps that you can use to target specific back areas that need additional support. I started with no added support and then tried both of the additional pads. They do not become overpowering and the belt remained comfortable with either of the extra pads inserted. The belt itself is very stretchy and has very strong Velcro. The sizing chart on the Amazon page is accurate, properly recommending a size Large for a 40" waist. The amount of the belt that can receive Velcro is quite large, so more than one size might work, and if you are near the top of the range for a particular size, you might do well by getting the next larger size. Two extras add value: a mesh bag to hold the brace and a book that contains recommended exercises to improve your back. One thing that's a little unusual is that the belt ends overlap left end over right end instead of the more usual right over left. It's easy enough to get used to and I give this belt a full recommendation. ... show more
