Most of us have seen, purchased and/or used double-sided mounting tape... But I have to give kudos to this product after testing/reviewing it for an unbiased opinion. I'm impressed!! I'll purchase this product in the future, it has performed so well... It's slightly wider than I was expecting, at a little over 1" wide (1.18"), which was nice... But it's the gripping power that really stands out compared to other double-sided tape I've used... This stuff REALLY HOLDS!! Apparently, it's what they call "nanotechnology" as it'll stick to almost any smooth or semi-smooth surface easily... If you later need to remove the tape, no problem, it'll peel right off without leaving any sticky residue... The tape itself is a nice 2mm thickness... so it has substance... As a test, I was needing to install a new 16 port network switch, which I needed to mount to the wall. Instead of adding two screws to my wall, I instead took two small pieces of this double-sided tape to the back of the switch, and slapped it against the wall, then pressed real hard for about 30 secs, and 4 days later, it still hasn't moved (nor do I expect it to anytime soon.) So, IMHO, this stuff is the best double-sided mounting tape I've ever had in my toolbox! I'll be picking up more of this as soon as it's almost gone. This is good stuff and has multiple uses for mounting items around the home and office. ... show more

    • Remarkable invention - this gel tape
There are so many uses for this tape. Let me give you a sample: I have an inventory list printed and put into a clear plastic sleeve which is then fastened to a cement wall with this tape over a chest of drawers with various items in the drawers. Quick ID of the drawer contents. Other tapes would not be able to adhere to cement. I have a counter top with a bar sink in it against an L-wall. If water runs to the left, it simply falls downward along the drywall onto the floor. So I use this tape to seal up the gap - a long strip with half the edge on the drywall, creased down the center of the long strip and the other edge of the gel tape on the counter. I only removed the backing from the one side (not both sides in this instance). So now if water should run the sink accidentally to the side, the drywall is not touched. The water is stopped. This gel tape is really quite amazing for certain uses. I wish it came in much longer lengths for the money, but it is what it is. 5-stars for the gel tape. ... show more

    • Super adhesive tape, no worries mounting items on wall
This roll of tape is incredible! You do not need to use a lot of tape for lighter materials like picture frames. The most important thing is to have a clean wall, wipe it down and let it completely dry before attaching the tape to the surface. Let the tape rest for an hour to provide maximum adhesion. I haven't tried to remove the tape yet, I cannot speak about not damaging the wall. I used this tape to mount a large heavy frame, I just used more tape and have had no issues at all with it.     • Extremely sticky and extremely durable!
I used this heavy-duty thick double-sided tape to secure a kitchen rag rug over a comfort-foam mat for my kitchen sink (standing and doing dishes is rough on my knees, but I hated the weird texture of the foam in my stocking feet). This tape works perfectly to hold it in place and has held up to that purpose for quite a while! I like that it is repositionable but extremely grippy. It does have a slight chemical odor on first application; it was very mild and dissipated almost immediately, but it's useful to know if you have a sensitivity. ... show more

I use this kind of double sided tape for wall and window signs, securing rugs on outdoor concrete floor and more. I like th tape, I am not happy that it doesn't come in a wheel so the sides don't get stuck and is easier to cut. This comes in a plastic bag and once taken out, because both sides of the roll are sticky it is hard to manage. ... show more

This GULIDA double sided mounting tape is REALLY sticky and while that makes it a little challenging to work with, it is definitely good for hanging things. We moved my son back into college recently and installed some picture frames and other items on the walls of his dorm room with 3M command strips but the adhesive didn't stick well to the painted concrete walls and most of them fell down that same night. We cleaned the walls with rubbing alcohol and added new command strips and also added sections of this heavy-duty mounting tape for a backup. So far so good... the pictures have been holding steady for about a day now and nothing has fallen. This tape says it's removable too, which is a plus. It seems like it would pull off pretty easily, but we haven't tried yet. Overall, I'm very happy with this tape it is a lot like a name brand but at a fraction of the cost and it seems to work really well. ... show more

    • I am really liking this tape a lot.
So far not really had anything wrong with the tape. The backing comes off so much easier then a lot of other tapes. so makes getting it to stay put and let get the back off without having to mass it up by having to put your fingers on the parly exposed tape and them make it so that will not hold to the wall or whatever your putting it on. This stuff is very sticky so make sure that when you put it down it's where you want because this still will stick very good and because of how it's made if you try to pull it up you will make it so that part of the tape is not long good to use. But when you do that it does fully release from whatever it is without leaving a lot of sticky goe left over that you have to try to clean it off it. Also love the fact it clear so you can use this to mont things like glass or other things where traspary is a most. ... show more

    • A must for classroom decor
This tape is worth it! I used it to put up classroom posters on cinder block walls. It holds up really well. None of the posters have fallen! Surprisingly enough it was also easy to remove if need be. It also does well on doors and even the white board. I was able to remove it without causing damage to it. It was tricky to cut as it is thick but it's worth the little bit of trouble. ... show more
