Recently, I got this double-sided tape to fix my down-tube armor (the black thing on the bottom of my frame) from my Trek Slash 8 2022 because it fell off after I landed hard on a jump. I had no idea what adhesive they used to put on my down tube armor so I went on pink bike to see if this was a common problem. Surprisingly or not, this was a very common problem and it was happening only on the Alloy frames. I read through the comments and found that most people use this 3M tape to fix it, they had remarkable results and had an easy time installing it. So I wanted to try it since I didn’t want to use an adhesive since they’re annoying to deal with. As soon as it arrived I cleaned the Frame and the sticky side of the Down tube armor and then proceeded to put on the tape. It was easy as heck and after testing it and trying to rip it out, I couldn’t and it stuck like super glue. I would for sure recommend since it’s strong and easy to use.     • Versatile, but not foolproof

Used this keep some edges tight on a projector screen and I had to reapply in area. Also ran this along the sides of a blackout curtain for 100% darkness, and it was completely worth it.

Follow the directions and this stuff works extremely well even in not optimal temperatures. It was below 70° when we used it and then it rained before I could put the car inside.That didn’t matter. Three days later and it’s still stuck like iron. I’m very happy with it.

I ordered this for my spoiler ,. Haven't used it on it yet. I'm a bit skeptical of it really holding. So I am testing it on several items 1st.. I've got to see it it could hold winds up to 80 or 90 mph. And rain ,cold weather etc.. I hope so ,if no it will be some expensive tape.

I like the product - very sticky. The description notes "16.4FT x 0.94IN". I thought each roll was 0.94" wide, but the two rolls together make it 0.94" wide. Each roll is 0.47 inches wide.

    • This Tape Holds Signs Well

I use this to put up signs, and the adhesive is strong enough to hold the signs, and not weaken over time. It has just enough flexibility to hold on imperfect surfaces like interior walls at the office, while looking flush.
