This tape is made for to repair items that are not heavy duty such as photos, cards, signs, wallpaper, and decorations. The tape is made of PE extra strength fabric cloth mesh. It is great for items that are not really heavy in weight. It has an adhesive on both sides with ensures that your product is fully secured. Once you decide to remove the tape, cleanup is fairly easy because it doesn’t leave behind any residue. The tape is very easy to use since it is mesh. I’ve enjoyed using it on some of my curtains and rugs. It has worked very well. I will continue using the tape on my lighter products. ... show more

I have used an instore brand of adhesive hem tape for many things over the years as I make quite a lot of costuming throughout the year. I also use it for making decor items like curtains, pillows, repairing closing and hemming the pants in our family as we are all typically shorter than average. I'm very impressed with this brand. It is wider and the mesh in it makes it not only stronger but far less likely to roll into itself as the brands I have used previously and has excellent adhesion. I will definitely be buying this again in the future as it is not only very easy to use and better than what I've purchased previously in a retail craft store, but it is also much less expensive per length. As with any tape, this has its strengths and weaknesses. I got this to keep carpets in place, and just to have around if I ever need a double-sided tape. I am mostly satisfied with the tape and have not had any major problems with it - the tape is fairly strong (though not the strongest), and did not leave any noticeable sticky residue on the surface or on my hands like other bigger name brand tapes have. Do beware though that if you put it on a painted surface, it may remove or discolor, in my case, the paint (I learned that lesson). My two minor criticisms of this would be 1) It is sometimes annoyingly sticky. It is tough to cut with scissors, and even when I'm carrying around the reel of tape before taking the protective layer off, it is sticky and will stick to stuff and 2) I consider it fairly strong, but it is not the strongest double sided tape I've used. If you want the strongest mounting tape possible, there are other options. Conclusion: I consider this tape to be a good balance between strength and caution (as far as residue goes). I am glad that I got this tape and I have found it very useful in using for basic tasks around the house, such as keeping carpet in place. I love that it leaves little to no residue like other brands that I've used, which I think is its biggest benefit, though it is very sticky and it is not the strongest mounting tape I've used, though not bad in terms of strength. Overall, I would recommend this for basic daily jobs around the house that may require double-sided mounting tape, but if it is very heavy duty, you may want to go a bit stronger. ... show more

Finally I found a double sided tape that's really sticky and strong. I used it to hold the rugs and to hold small devices inside the cars. Very strong tape even though it appears very thin. Love it.

I have a dog that sheds immensely. Rugs are a must to keep her fur and dirt away from my actual carpet. This tape went above and beyond in keeping my rugs stuck to the carpet and I'm definitely going to buy more. Great adhesion.

Almost impossible to get the sticky part off the tape! The concept is great the product is NOT! You need a better system to achieve what you set out to do....The sticky part is almost impossible to work with and doesn't really adhere to the fabric at all. Just a WASTE of Money!............
