    • Cd didn’t work, sound quality is not very good
After installing this into my father’s 2001 Nissan Frontier, I was checking to ensure everything worked properly and the cd player skips and jumps tracks at random. I tuned to my favorite radio station and the volume had to be turned almost all the way up to just hear it. I am in the process of returning this product and searching for another for his truck. Would not recommend this product. I gave It three stars because it came on time and had all the components that were supposed to come with it. ... show more

    • Outdated programming
I bought it because of its features and it was cheap. Found that access to its settings is very cumbersome and while they did state that it would work with Android beyond 9 series, its own onboard settings menu is totally dependant upon the android device and since my Android is an 11, this radio is pretty much inaccessible for features. It seems rather stupid that its programming isn't upgradable when the Android system is upgrading every couple of weeks. It has plenty of basic power and a nice wiring interface and it will play music thru USB cable of your phone, but screen mirroring for maps and other android functions just isn't there. Installed this in my Ford F350 and the installation was pretty easy. There were several YouTube videos that helped. The screen has been great, touch is nice, and Android auto works well. I have had to get another cable which is annoying. The backup camera works really well. I do wish there was a way to flip the camera image as I don't have a way to mount the camera on my truck. Right now it's taped onto the bumper. I may get a different one. You can see in the pictures that there are extra letters on the music information. I submitted this to customer service and they didn't know why and said they would research it. Lastly, there is an option to mute things when backing up and I turned this off but things still mute when the backup camera comes on. I've tried turning it off and on but that doesn't make a difference. Oh yeah, I also forgot, the manual is really lacking quite a bit. I wish it had more in depth information about the options. I asked for more and was told by customer service to ask questions as they didn't have any other manuals. Customer service has been good at responding within a couple days which has been nice. They have been able to address most of my issues though not always solve them. For the cost of the unit I find it to be a good buy. ... show more

Cheap stereo, very little lag on inputs, sound is good. Settings are a bit confusing, you can tell it was designed in a foreign language and translated to American. I would have given this stereo 3-4 stars for its quality compared to its price it's really not a bad way to cheaply add Android auto to an older car, however the USB charging/data port on the stereo (the only one you can use android auto) does not apply enough amperage to charge a phone while plugged in and running Android auto. Very disappointed with that. Yes i tried multiple cables and tried those cables on another car I have with factory USB for Android auto. ... show more

Had the stereo for 5 months, the cd player doesn't work and the blue tooth skips. Very cheap made do not buy.
