After purchasing other aftermarket stereos and returning them.} This is the keeper. Fits up well with a 2008 Dodge 2500, though had to purchase a separate wiring harness... Which is unavoidable. Neat little perks I found that are not listed are: availability for a front camera, and once connected to your phone you can use the stereo to toggle around.     • Worked great for about 4 weeks.
Wasn't expecting much for $130 radio. But let me tell you, the sound is amazing for the price. At least for the first few weeks. After about a month the radio seems to be possessed. It will not shut off. The touch screen will have spasms and act like it's being touched in different areas. Volume will go to max for no reason at all while listening. And some of the features will not work on the radio now. It didn't happen all at once, one thing one day then another etc. Junk. ... show more

Easy to install. Works great. Dislikes: remote is cheap. I wanted to buy a backup remote but I could never figure out where to purchase a new one even after contacting seller. Two things I learned. Never go in verse until the screen is full up. Otherwise the screen stays blank and then you have to go into park for device to work. Never plug in phone before screen comes up. System will not come up. Have to unplug then plug back in. These are little issues and I am really happy about the device. Seller is very responsive to emails and wanting to assist with any issues. Brought this since i upgraded to ip13 and cannot use the old magnet phone mount anymore. Installation was not easy tbh even though i have some knowledge on electronics. The installation guide is not clear enough to follow, but the customer service is helpful. i shot them a Email and got my problem solved in a day. The manufacturor seemed to care about reviews. I saw some reviews mentioned connector, and it did take into consideration and provide a connector to the unit. We ALSO need connectors/pins to the vehicle circuit! Please update the installation guide and consider to provide a video instruction. Screen is mediocre; hd resolution but cannot complain for this price. back up camera needs improvment. when is activated, it does interrupt radio but acceptable. overall it is a good product ... show more

    • Clunky user interface & Lack of pre-amp outputs
I installed the headunit last night. One thing I found that I really didn't like is the user interface. When using Apple Carplay if you switch to any other screen you can not get back to the carplay menu, you have to unplug your device then plug it back in. There is only 1 pre-amp output with full range sound (left & right) and its not front or back, just left & right, instead of being able to plug so much other crap we don't need I really with features we could actually use. There is only a single output mono out for sub-pre amp which just about any amp requires 2 pre-amp outputs, a left & a right, there is only a singular output. The screen is decently bright and the headunit functions as it should otherwise. I do hear engine noise with this unit that I did not have with my previous head unit. Overall for a double din touch screen head unit with car play capability for only $129 what do you expect honestly. Mine did have an issue with the control illumination not working so I am currently waiting for a new unit to come in. We will see if some of these issues I have had with the head unit will be solved when the new unit comes in. ... show more

of course i had to buy a wiring harness, antenna adapter etc. that process of connecting the wires on the two harness was fairly easy with those new connectors that have solder in them. the only thing i missed was I had to provide Power to the Amp on my H3. Thankfully there is a YT vid that talks about No sound after install. So I removed it from the dash then back in only to discover the camera also needed power. The mounting brackets do not line up on my H3 where I need them. It will work just fine until the new brackets come in. I really like having apple car play on my old off road clunker and a backup camera that will be mounted in a couple of days. We live in a small town in the middle of no where that does not have good radio stations so i use my phone to listen to WJRR with the app. I like the built in Mic but I might add the wired mic depending on how this works once the unit is exactly where I need it. The only quirk so far is that the volume up n down have to be touched to rye side near the edge Vs right on the button. I am going to look for a touch screen adjust option. I also want to add a front camera in the near future which should make driving thru the brush and rocks a lot easier ... show more

It is like the stereo has a mind of its own. Sometimes when I put my jeep in reverse, the stereo starts blaring and I can’t turn it off or change the volume. I literally have to put my car in park. Turn off the car and open up the door for it to stop. The screen freezes. Now my CarPlay doesn’t work it just has a blank screen with a little dot at the bottom. I know it was a cheap stereo but I spent $380 just to install it and now I would like to pull it out by myself. In the microphone is terrible, No one can hear me talk. ... show more
