The product is nice and light with a solid very quick and reactive screen which makes it very easy to deal with, the sound is pretty great for the price and the fact that you CAN connect to a speaker system makes it all the better. The back up camera is a Huge plus and very functional and honestly very easy to install. I have a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 2016 and it wasn't the Best option for it ONLY because of fitting issues, BUT I am very inventive so I managed to deal with it well enough that it worked out great... With that said, I will Also have to state that even with the purchase of a CH1 and RR1 (an extra $206) there was something wrong with the connection (green to gray cables) that make the radio turn off every time I went less than 20mph and kept going on and off like that until I had to figure it out for myself... Even though the Maestro RR1 is supposed to work as the "mainframe" that connects the functions of the vehicle to the radio it didn't exactly do the job at the beginning. Although I did absolutely Everything by the book, I still had to reconnect cables outside of the instructions to make it functional. Apart from THAT it is a GREAT BUY, especially for the price and the features within the (pretty much the android tablet) stereo. PS: it does NOT have an SD Card Slot or an Aux port, but everyone has a smart phone by now so it really doesn't matter. Also, don't get frustrated with the Chinese words, you CAN Change all that once uou play with it enough. Preferably within Wifi Range so you can Really do everything with ease. ... show more

    • Good item, great customer service
This is a review of a cheap Podofo head unit with some nicer features like GPS and decent amount of memory. The unit seems responsive and fast. The screen is not the brightest out of the box and has no obvious knobs to adjust it but if you go into settings (admittedly quite buried in the menus) then you can get brightness and contrast to be OK for daily driving. The sound output is great for my system (I only have two channels) but not sure it would be great for surround. Everything about this unit is cheap but not cheapo. They send you a manual by PDF - no print version. The manual and the menus have some Chinese characters here and there but you can decode the necessary bits. Actually you do not need a manual - all the pinouts are available in the settings once you power on the unit. The wires are not all labeled well (like speaker wires have no labels) but the wires on my unit follow standard codes so for example my sound was good the first time I hooked everything up. Best of all, when I made a mistake and failed to properly hook up the reverse wire, their tech support spent two days with me by email helping me troubleshoot. It was slow but I have to admire the commitment to the customer. I just installed the unit so I have no idea if the screen will last or anything to do with longevity. I also think that if you have a few hundred dollars extra and don't want the installation hassle then maybe buy a brand name and have the dealer install it. If money matters though, then this unit is an impressive bargain for the money. ... show more

I've gotten further and updated my rating. I'm able to use most of the features now, switching on the accessory key, reverse, headlights, and pressing a mock version of steering wheel controls. I'm working on customizing the appearance and hook up OBDII with car settings. Many photos in the reviews do not match what you see on the device. Lots of Chinese characters in various spots under the hood. Weird English phrases. Changing boot animation shows working preview, saves, but isn't shown during boot. Car settings say that I need to set the radio in a car - but says no original vehicle function. Power button on tablet itself seems to be for mute. Runs on Android 9.1 8227L Boot up: Resets to 24 hour clock. Keyboard changes to Chinese. Doesn't show custom animation Setup Tips: Power on: Yellow + Red to 12 volt positive, Black to 12 volt negative Fuse: At least 20 Amps (15 amps for 4*50W speaker. 1 Amp for Device+Backup Camera) Factory Password: 8888. Engineering test debugging: 26959910. Steering wheel controls: KEY/KEY 2 are same. Wire up 1 to 5k Ohm resistor to ground. It was able to tell the difference between 1/18/27/39/56/68/82/100/120/150. Custom Logo: 1024x600 24-bit BMP file. Go into android settings to change Chinese keyboards to US English. ... show more

    • Great unit, good price and easy install!
I purchased this head unit and I was a little worried at first, due to all the reviews I've read... Good and bad. The shipping came when described.... I purchased the aftermarket stereo wiring harness z and I am glad I did. So do your self agfavor and buy one for your install! After that the install wassimplez just connect the colors from harness to harness. It sounds great, looks great and is very responsive... I ended up getting the unit with 2 gig and 32 ram and I'm thankful I did... I did have to cut and modify my dash to fit the double din stereo, but with a dremelnit was no problem. I wish every install was this painless. There's no AM radio.. m the buttons on the left are not lit up at night... The usb cords that are included are not fast charging... For the price (I purchased it on Amazon day, so even cheaper) I am very happy... I've found name brand with the same specs and it's close to 500$. I would recommend and buy again... Hopefully, it lasts long... ... show more
