Finding a quality down comforter online can be a pain as you do not have the opportunity to feel it out first hand. When the box arrived I was super disappointed as it was a small box and I thought I was ripped off. I opened the box to find that it was vacuumed sealed which eased my previous judgement. After removing the blanket from the packaging I fluffed it out. I did notice a slight “duck/bird” smell that most people talked about but it honestly wasn’t overwhelming. Being the weirdo I am I couldn’t help but was it as I do with any type of clothing I purchase. I washed it in cool/warm water with original tide detergent. Moved it to the dryer and we were good to go! It is a super nice blanket and I’m super pleased. I will say that I do wish the same laws applied to material sales as they do food sales because the blanket does not look even remotely close to what you see in the picture hence my 4 star rating. It’s still a fluffy blanket but not to the extent you see in the pics. It’s like with your wife or girlfriend.... when you met them at the bar that first night and couldn’t believe this Jennifer Aniston is coming home with you tonight.. and then you’re surprised 15 years later when you wake up to Ozzy Osbourne ... show more

This is absolutely the best possible down comforter you can get especially for this amazing price. No one can beat the quality and the price of this comforter. It really is like sleeping under a cloud! It’s heavy enough so you feel like your sleeping under a down comforter but not heavy enough where your sweating and are too hot. It really is a great product and the quality is unbelievable. In the past I had down comforters that cost me 2-3 times the price and were 1/2 the quality and comfort. It’s made and stitched beautifully with a lovely gray color. If you like to get the complete package I recommend purchasing their down pillows as well. They are about 80.00 for two queen size pillows and they feel just as amazing as the comforter. I’m beyond happy having to purchase their products, my bed is the most comfortable it’s ever been. Another wonderful thing about them is the outstanding quality service. I had a issue with one of my deliveries and when I reached out to them, they respond ASAP!! They helped me and resolved my issue immediately. They also did this on their own, outside of amazon which should tell you how much they appreciate their customers and how much they stand behind their products Please, if you looking for excellent down pillows and comforters you need to try them. They have excellent customer service guarantee if your not satisfied so you have nothing to loose.     • Really REALLY WARM!
Just moved to a colder climate than we are used to, so I got one of these in a king size to go on top of the bed over our blankets. This is so warm that I was able to turn off the heat in the bedroom, and I know that will save money in the long run! It's quite heavy but I don't mind that at all. I guess I should mention it is a bit noisy, which is weird for a comforter, but it does make crunchy noises if you toss and turn a lot. If you are a light sleeper it might be bothersome, but I still love it anyway! It did smell a bit after I first opened it, but let it air out for a few days before putting it on the bed. ... show more

Lovely construction, very warm (almost too warm for a warm sleeper in California climate) one thing is the crinkle noise that comes from the comforter is pretty loud. Something I had to get used to. Overall nice!

Super surprising in a good way is that this 45oz fill is warm! It really seems like its as warm as the 65oz fill down comforter that I own.. I would say this comforter would be good for fall, winter, spring, and Im not sure about summer?? Im guessing it might be too hot for the summer. It fluffs up nicely. It is 90% down, 10% feathers. I had NO feathers poke through nor any issue with it having feathers.. it feels the same as my other 100% goose down products. However, the fabric does have a crinkly sound with movement, which wakes me several times a night. My husband also wakes up when I turn the covers back to get out of the bed unfortunately. The fabric is soft to the touch and the product appears well made. Aside from the crinkle, this would be a perfect comforter. ... show more
