I can recommend this power strip for careful home use. It's pro's include an on-off switch with indicator light and three USB ports in addition to four grounded AC receptacles. Its cord is 10 feet long, just the length I need. On the downside, at least potentially, the outlets are mounted in a nice looking but surprisingly lightweight plastic cabinet. I don't want to test the cabinet's ability to withstand a drop to a tile floor. The fabric-wrapped cord is also attractive but noticeably stiff. That stiffness is less a problem in use than in storage between uses. I've yet to come up with a way to wrap the cord for storage neatly and compactly. For that reason, this product might not be the best choice for travel use. Overall, a very good if not excellent device that came at a price I consider fair. ... show more

We just got a new coffee table that has a part that lifts up for using our laptops downstairs, so we needed a power bar with a long cord so we could run it under our couch and under our coffee table to plug in our laptops for extended use. This is perfect! The cord is thin enough and flexible, so it moves exactly where we need it to be and stays there. No drifting like power bars with plastic coated cords sometimes do. Great number of outlets for our needs, and having the ports for USB cords is great as well. In this day and age, one can never have too many outlets, and this helps keep everyone's devices charged up. The outlets are also the right "tightness" so things don't wobble while plugged in, nor is it too difficult to remove them. When we're done using it, we can slip it under the couch easily so it isn't in the way, but most of the time since the cord is so thin and flat, we can keep it under the coffee table since it doesn't get in the way. ... show more
