The DonJoy ComfortFORM Wrap-Around Back Support Brace protects the back and prevents further injury during moderate, non-contact activities. Featuring a low profile design; constructed with durable mesh elastic and a molded lumbar compression pad to provide comfortable support for the Sacro-Lumbar region of the spine. Overlapping double pull straps provide additional support to the lumbar and abdominal area to promote proper spinal alignment and helps prevent and protect injuries including strains and sprains. Silicone gripper strips on either side of back pad help prevent migration. The DonJoy ComfortFORM Wrap- Around Back Support Brace is latex free and is recommended for moderate compression and support for injuries of the lower back and stabilizing support to help prevent spinal overload.

I have to lift quite a bit at work, and my back occasional gets strained. I also get bad sciatica pain everyonce in awhile. All I have to do is wear this to bed and my back feels better by morning. It gives both compression to the spine and support! It's not the most comfortable thing, but it works!

This appears to be capable of delivering good support. I'll write once the proper size is delivered to me. I chose a size that was supposed to easily accommodate my waistline. I can close the straps but not easily and therefore, there is no room to further snug when circumstances require more support. Order a size larger than you think you need. ... show more

I have a very long torso so I have to constantly adjust it. I was under the impression the lumbar support padding was removable. I really wanted something that was like a corset (without lacing up). It provides enough support, However I can only wear it for a few hours. Extremely constricting.

I haven't had this very long so my review is somewhat limited. On a Saturday afternoon, I was lifting my bed and felt a pop in my lower back. Since I'm waiting for my employer-sponsored health insurance to kick in, I opted out of a visit to the doctor. I ordered this because the other DonJoy braces get high marks. This brace is much cheaper than their similar lower back braces. There is a pad that hit my back lower back in just the right place. The velcro is also pretty secure. If I wanted to wear this under a tshirt, I don't believe anyone would be able to see it. No complaints so far. My back is feeling better but I'm sure I'll need it again soon. I am woman 5'4" and weigh 150lb. 35" waste. I ordered a large and it fits well. ... show more

Great support...play golf and use at gym for workouts...can adjust tightness-support with the secondary pull-flaps. Afterwards, back feels normal, not tired and sore. Only drawback is that the front fits close to the bottom of my ribs, so when bending over, tends to put pressure my ribs, but I'm 5'5"...I can live with that. ... show more
